I found this location 2024 during my first trimester. The staff is also pleasant.they were one call away during my neither pregnancy. Delivery was a breeze and they took great care of me post pregnancy. I absolutely love Doctor Crowthorn. He is always so pleasant and reassuring.

I’ve been coming to this location since I moved to Georgia in 2018. I was a lot younger when I first started coming here so I did not have many issues as a women in her early 20s now I have not had the best experience when it comes to my issues. I have spent well over $500 on visits coming to them about the same issue that was never addressed or misdiagnosed. Not to mention like the other reviews said it’s so much harder to get in now I kept going to my pcp hoping they could help but they kept telling me to schedule with my OBGYN and I could not get in unless it was 3 months out even when I told them it was an issue my pcp needed to be addressed. I came here for this issue many many times after finally getting in and was told my issue I was having was endometriosis they gave me a hormone for it and that was that the hormone worked slightly but did not resolve the issue but they did not look into anything else with the issues I was having. Today I went to the women’s center in Conyers due to still having pain and they answered my questions and did not reply with short answers unlike this office. Don’t get me wrong the providers I’ve seen over the years aren’t rude or unpleasant just do not look into all the possibilities of what could be wrong with you besides basic issues from what I’ve experienced they always wanted to say it could be a “STD” or a “STI” every time I had issues and never think they have done those test multiple times on me and it’s never the reason. Anyways the women’s center tells me a whole different condition that could be my issue that I had never heard of and that GREYSTONE never mentioned to me that fits my issue much better than the diagnosis they initially told me here at GREYSTONE. And they wanted to get to the root of the issue and seemed like they cared about my concerns and took the time to listen to me ask questions after the fact. They even brought up minor stuff that I had mentioned to the lady who ask the questions before the exam that was going on that they felt was important and addressed that without me even asking! My coworkers seen my struggle for almost an entire year even went the hospitals to the pain in 2023 and they kept telling me to go to a different OBGYN and because I had been coming here for so long I did not want to change providers thankfully I went to go get a second opinion today because of how much pain I was in I could barley work at my job and I found the women’s center in Conyers highly recommend them.

Let me first start by saying the conyers location is my preference. The Covington office initially ignored me stating I felt like I was going to pass out at times. I had to follow up twice and then was sent for iorn infusion. Also every direction is given from the desk, no one gets up to show you where you need to go. I will say (at the Covington location) the woman that does check in is nice, the woman who did my ultrasound was, and so is the woman that handles the financial aspect. She was very nice and informative when I needed to get my insurance straightened out. But at the Conyers location every one seems to be having a good day, likes there job, it's more upbeat attitudes, etc.
Amy Newman was the least exciting midwife I've encountered. When I seen her at an appointment with the NP she just looked like she hated to be present. When I was delivering my baby she kept jumping back saying she was going to get kicked. Mind you I'm just trying to get comfortable in the bed during the uncomfortable contractions I wasn't kicking. She then attempted to make a guess at how far along I was while in labor & said she didn't know because I wouldn't let her check me. She didn't even say she needed to or physically come over to try to. I had to say well come on and check me. She stood back the whole time i delivered. Just wasn't a good energy during my delivery. I will say she did a FABULOUS job sewing me up after birth.
I am thankful to Greystone for following up after I have birth on my iorn level c& making sure I was ok before I went home. Setting me up with a blood transfusion & iorn infusion. I appreciate that so so much. That could have been missed but you all made sure I was ok.

I have been going here since I was 15 years old and never have it EVER been this difficult to schedule an appt here. Each time I get someone otp to schedule it’s something different to why I can’t schedule. If Greystone can’t handle how many patients they get now then they need to take there advertisements down!

I love this office and recommend to all. I have had some bad experiences with OB/GYN clinics. This office is the only one I've been to that's exceeded all my expectations. BTW they were recommended to me lol

My midwife Amy & Dr. Wood (as well as the nurses at Piedmont Rockdale) gave me an amazing 1st birthing experience and I will forever be grateful! My worst fear was having to get a C-Section & Dr. Wood, Amy, and the nurses powered me through pushing (with a little help from the vacuum) & we were able to avoid the OR. 10/10 experience and if I were to ever have other children I would want Amy and Dr. Wood again and again.

12/22/24: I am so happy I met Dr. Duhart! She is an absolute doll! She delivered my son via c section 12/20/24 and I honestly wish she had delivered my first. She is an amazing spirit, we had an amazing surgery in the OR, she followed up with me daily after my procedure. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. Without a doubt, see Dr. Duhart! She will take the best care of you!

12/05/24: Today I went back and saw Dr. Duhart and I absolutely loved her. She was very very patient with my questions and concerns. After an exam, I’m unable to deliver VBAC, so she thoroughly explained and educated me on what the next steps were. I proceeded to ask her if she’d deliver my sweet boy! Because I was genuinely very happy with how she educated me AFTER examining me. She also has a wonderful personality and she’s honestly the only person I’d trust to welcome baby #2. I had a very traumatic experience with my first. We were both okay, but it made me very picky with who I’d want delivering my baby during a very vulnerable time. Thank you, Dr. Duhart for being so incredible.

11/21/24: After my last visit with Dr. Cowthorn, I was very disappointed. I told the staff my very first visit that I was diagnosed with RA as well as anemia, I tried bringing things to his attention but it got shut down. He spent 5-10 minutes in the room with me, TOLD me that I was having another c section (without explanation) and he never once touched me. I tried discussing concerns, etc and was shut down. I told him about a back injury i had and he then behaved as if I was asking for painkillers. When my mother (who was with me) had to explain to him I only wanted an anti inflammatory (ibuprofen specifically) to maybe decrease the pain. I cannot take painkillers as they make me very sick.

6/18/24: I absolutely LOVED Arianna! She’s amazing!!

HOWEVER, I’m very very frustrated with this practice as I was given a call and told I was being referred to high risk with NO other reason other than I’m overweight! I was also told I’d need two glucose tests throughout my pregnancy because I’m overweight.

Being overweight does NOT automatically make you a high risk case! This happened at another practice when I was pregnant with my first and high risk told me “I’m not sure why you were sent to us, but everything is fine. We have no reason to see you again.”

You’re far more concerned about my weight versus the fact that I’m anemic and I’m dehydrated.

Will be finding another OB. I’m absolutely floored that NONE of this was discussed prior to me leaving my appointment nor was it discussed that I’d be sent to high risk!

Do better in informing your patients of things.
