Beginning with the front desk through the assistants through the eye doctor and communications all the way through checkout everything was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly staff very professional. I'd recommend Gulf Coast Eye Care with high commendation. .

Incredibly disappointed. When I originally called to book an appointment, I explained I was interested in surgical options so I wouldn't have to wear contacts or glasses. I was transferred to a gentleman named Matt, the receptionist said he would be able to go over all possible options in detail. I spoke with Matt for almost 45 min, going over my current Rx, types of contacts, my age, eye goals, the fact I had looked into Lasik years ago but was told I wasn't a candidate because I'm far-sighted, etc. He then explained 3 different potential surgical options based on my medical info (RLE, SMILE, Contact Replacement), we even went over pricing of these options (5K-10K), all of which sounded good. I just wanted the best option for me. He said the next step was to book an appointment for an evaluation, this would take 2 hours, and would include dilating my eyes. He also said I can't wear contacts for the week leading up to my appointment. Again, all OK with me. He said the cost of the evaluation was $100, again, OK with me since it's 2 hours of detailed testing and evaluating.
Well, after a week of not wearing my contacts (glasses only) and paying the $100 consultation fee, I spent about 20 min doing some basic eye tests (all of which I normally do at my yearly eye exam) only to meet with a young doctor who told me, "Due to my age and the fact I'm far-sighted, I'm not a candidate for any of the surgical options."....seriously.
After all the time and money I spent for the appointment, this felt like information I should have been given in my initial phone conversation with Matt. When I explained this to the front desk as I was leaving, I was told "Well, Matt isn't the doctor that's why you have to see the doctor."
This just felt like an opportunity for them to try to A. make a quick $100, B. Potentially gain my business for my eye care needs (yearly exams, glasses, etc).
Again, incredibly disappointing and total waste of time and money.

Dr. Manning and Dr. Knapper are fantastic! I saw Dr. Manning for an eye exam and Dr. Knapper for the Alma laser and Botox. I could not be more pleased with the results. This office is extremely organized and professional. I will continue my annual eye exams and aesthetic care at Gulfcoast Eye Care. I highly recommend!

I had a stellar experience and a great outcome with my eyelid lift! Dr. Knapper and Team are awesome! Highly recommend!! Dr. Manning did both of my cataract surgeries and because of the great experience I had with him, I came back. Dr. Nguyen has seen me several times and finally, after going other places, fitted me with glasses that I purchased at the optic center there… best glassed I have had in years! Every single person that I met there was personable, helpful, and compassionate! In my opinion, they truly are five star care providers!
