This was the most frustrating experience of my week. And that's saying something because I got into an accident two hours away from home and my car is in the shop there. I purchased a vehicle and just wanted to get a tag for it and pay the taxes on my purchase. This took two days to achieve because the first time I went I was told I needed to bring more information when I brought that information I was told I needed to bring more information. It would have been nice to be told everything that was needed the first time.

I'm seriously regretting moving to Georgia! Trying to change my registration and driver's license has been a nightmare, and one I'm still living. Even though I paid 10% tax when I bought vehicles in AZ, here I am being charged another 3% tax!!! And I have to buy 2 sets of license tags this year because the first set expires in 2 months on my birthday. Then 2nd set will be good for a year. That's stupid! I was told by the lady: "Happy birthday from Georgia!" After standing (no chairs available) for 2 hours I left with no plates or tags.

My first experience at this tag office 6 years ago, one of the staff members made me cry because she was so rude and made me feel incredibly stupid. Since then though, I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences and good service from everyone there including the lady that made me cry. I can only assume is that she was having a particularly bad day. We all have them.

Told us registration was on our vehicle when it had been canceled and my husband specifically asked them at least 4 times if it was okay to go home and drive that vehicle and they told us yes even though it had been suspended and they didn’t fix they registration. Also we told them plainly to cancel registration on our white Chevy because we was wanting to change the registration but they ignorantly canceled registration on our blue Chevy instead that we actually was in there driving at the drive thru window so they saw us in it. They don’t listen to anything you say there. We had to go back there twice in one day and called twice in one day before they finally figured out with they were doing and it was another lady that finally had to help us. Their staff needs a check up. People driving without registration when they say they have it and taking the wrong vehicle off is a serious issue!!!! We could have gotten a ticket!

Called to check to see why my property taxes hadn't been credited that was sent in 2 weeks ago. Was treated VERY RUDELY by June Black. Mortgage company stated that they wired the funds then tax commissioner stated that they don't accept wires, however, she then stated that they were waiting on the files from the company to post them. But they don't accept wires!
