I could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Atlanta, GA! I was in town for an event over the weekend, so I stayed in the guest suite at Hawthorne at N. Druid Hills and I cannot thank them enough for the hospitality and warm welcome that I received from this site! Michele is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was able to provide accommodations specific to my needs and even offered ideas for good food options in the area! I will return for future stays! Thank you for everything Michele, and thank you to Hawthorne at N. Druid Hills for the hospitality! Ya'll are SIMPLY AMAZING!!! 🙂

“Extremely Disappointed with Management’s Negligence”

Issue still not fixed… currently still being “resolved”

I have been dealing with persistent and disruptive pipe noises in my apartment since August, and despite raising multiple complaints over the past seven months, the issue remains unresolved. While management claims to be working on the problem, their efforts have been inadequate. I have provided detailed documentation, including emails, photos, and videos, yet the situation persists.

I was promised in December that the issue would be resolved at the beginning of the new year, but it is now well past that timeframe, and there has been no meaningful progress or consistent updates. The constant noise is severely affecting my quality of life, including my ability to sleep, and it is unacceptable that such a significant issue has been allowed to drag on for so long.

I understand that finding a qualified plumber may take time, but seven months is far beyond reasonable. This demonstrates negligence and a lack of urgency on the part of the management team. Tenants deserve better communication, accountability, and prompt resolutions to major maintenance concerns.

I hope this review encourages others to carefully consider their options before renting here.

I’ve been living here for almost three years, and I couldn’t be happier! The management and maintenance team truly make this place feel like home. Michele, the manager, is always prompt with messages and goes above and beyond to create a sense of community with fun events for residents. CJ, is incredibly thorough and quick to respond to any maintenance issues—he always makes sure things are fixed properly. What I love the most is how peaceful and safe the community feels. Once you move here, you tend to want to stay.

Michele was amazing! I came in to inquire about an apartment, and no secret I was in a bad mood and it was all over my face! She made it her business to make sure I was happy! We laughed my entire visit! She turned my day around and she was very knowledgeable of the property! I usually ask questions other wouldn’t ask when touring and she had perfect answers for all of them. The customer service I received from her definitely drew me end and when my current lease is up I definitely will be applying!!!

I lived in this community for about 4 months. Leasing and maintenance was fantastic to work with. They were quick to address or follow up with any issues I had within 24 hours. The community was very quiet, had ample parking everywhere, and was fortunate to stay in a recently renovated unit which looked great. For the price for rent compared to the area, it’s definitely on priced fairly.

I enjoyed the tour at Hawthorne. I was very impressed with the leasing office, the staff, and the pool/cane so area. Ms. Keisha was very professional, friendly, and made me feel like this was the place to be. The apartment community and garden definitely makes me feel at home.

Michele and Lori were very helpful from start to finish. They were always responsive to in questions I had. I transferred from another property and they made the transition as easy as possible. They even gave me a welcome kit for move in day! I would highly recommend this property.
