Have eaten here a number of times over the past couple of years, and have always loved the food and the vibe. Amazing selection for delicious vegetarian or vegan dishes. I have gotten the grain bowl types of food several times and have always loved it. The prices are a bit higher, but not by much, and considering the value of the fresh, healthy food you're getting - totally worth it. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

When the 45 min drive turns into a closed greenhouse, good vegan/plant based food can turn the day into a win. Very good food and a lovely location. This is just what you need in this busy area. Just a few miles from the intersection of RT395 and RT101 in Killingly.

One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. This place is so good, highly highly recommend. It was just somewhere I decided to stop on my route traveling through, and I’ll for sure be back just for this. Great vegan and vegetarian options, easy online ordering, and I was blown away by the pomegranate dark chocolate smoothie!!

Vegan for 14 years now, and this place is still one of the best I’ve ever tried 🙂 The staff are all super sweet and adorable, the atmosphere is welcoming, earthy, and cozy. And drive up makes ordering super easy if you’re an anxious person like I am (:

And the food is actually insane. So good, super fresh. The mock chicken curry is a criminal contraband item it’s so good.

Decided to take a drive out to Danielson Connecticut to try The Heirloom Food Company so glad we did! First off the place is charming outside and in. Decks and terraces for outdoor seating along with ample indoor space. Plenty of free parking as well. I was thrilled to see several choices of smoothies that didn’t contain banana. Opted for the Raw Chocolate Medjool smoothie. Thick, creamy and decadently delicious. Made with raw cacao, avocado, medjool dates, soy milk, vanilla and a pinch of salt yum! (I may have tossed the straw, the better to savor that rich creamy goodness) I had the Beta Burger patty house made with lentils, beets, brown rice and almonds super flavorful served on a delicious sprouted wheat bun with fresh crisp veggies and a killer vegan dill mayo. Needless to say I was very pleased with my choice. My husband went for the Buddha Bowl, Chickpea salad, sliced avocado, shredded carrots, cabbage, and vegan curry "mock chick" salad, over brown rice, topped with sesame seeds and drizzled with almond maple sauce. He loved it. I did some sampling of his have to say it was awesome! My eyes may have rolled back in my head in happiness upon tasting that almond maple sauce. They have a nice selection of vegan dessert goodies went for the cowboy cookies. Crisp with just the right amount of sweetness perfect way to end our meal. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful as well. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. We will happily make the trip which is an hour each way again.

Comfortable setting. Quality innovative menu. Pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would eat here more often if I lived closer. It is a good choice if you like healthy eating options.

This was the first time I’ve been here and I’m very impressed! I had the tuna wrap and it was packed with veggies and flavor. It was so big my dad and I split it. We all had the peaches and cream smoothie made with oat milk. It was so smooth, creamy and dairy free! My mom had the beet grilled cheese (which I tried ?) and it was delicious as well! As a bonus, this has the be the first restaurant I’ve been to were the food looks exactly like the pictures on the menu/online. We all will be returning for sure ?

I live about 40 minutes away but was passing through and found Heirloom Food co. Ugh, I wish this place was closer to where we live. We bought half of the items on the menu to take to a party. Everything I tried was amazing. Would fully recommend to anyone!
