I give this company a negative rating. I ordered eye drops from them and had it shipped to me in VA. The only reason I ordered from them was because my mom shopped there and loved this eye drop they had previously. I told them exactly what they were, as I read from the label. What I got were expired eye drops. So I called, though the young man on the other end was nice, I was a bit disturbed in what I heard. Since I couldn’t get my $ back I asked that when they get more drops in to notify me. What I received was an eye drop I can go to the CVS and get myself for $10 cheaper. What ever they may have been years ago, they are no longer!

My recommendation; DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

The staff and Owner, Carl are amazing!!! I was sent by a Nurse Practitioner as she said my doctor works with the owner. The Owner, Carl is highly educated and Knowledgeable. He figured out I had a yeast overgrowth. I have suffered for years with IBS symptoms. The treatment (candida digest and freedom, Probiotics) and low carbs/sugar diet (Atkins diet) has helped after a few days I felt better. It has been two and half weeks and I'm continuing to notice improvement. Carl is incredible. He doesn't just treat the symptoms, he treats the condition.

Update: I was diagnosed with Graves. Carl suggested a pituitary gland issue. Close enough! I will eventually have my pituitary gland evaluated as well since pituitary tumors can cause thyroid issues. Thank goodness I stumbled across Carl. I really do believe he saved my life! I was going downhill fast! SO THANKFUL!

I first heard Carl on talk radio. I had never heard of the Herb Shop before. He mentioned acid reflux so I decided I would go make an appointment with him since I have had reflux issues for 2 years with little resolve.

Besides reflux, I was having other health issues as well. I had asked my local doc's office if they thought I had a thyroid issue, they said no. My local doctor and UAB both recommended surgery and a biopsy.

While waiting for my surgery date, I scheduled an appointment with Carl. The appointment was easily made online. I think the consult was like $25.

I told Carl my symptoms and he asked if I had been feeling hot lately and I had. Like hot flashes hot at 36. No other doctor asked me this question. He said I might have a pituitary gland issue. I bought some supplements and went on my way.

2 days before my surgery at UAB, I had them check my thyroid with a simple blood test. I then went through my surgery pre-admission screening.

The day before my surgery, UAB cancelled it. My blood test showed an overactive thyroid.
Which of course could stem from a pituitary issue! That explained literally all of my symptoms!!!

In reality, a messed up thyroid could have killed me during surgery. No one at my doctor's office thought it odd that my resting heart rate was 134 bpm or that my oxygen level was low. And that was my pre-admission stats. Why on earth would UAB not question such a high heart rate just sitting in their office!!!

Carl has made me a believer! Even my 6'1 military husband is a believer. We just can't get over how a $25 consult with an herbalist saved my life and diagnosed my issue. I had gone through thousands of dollars in testing in Montgomery and UAB and all I really needed was Carl.

I realize people are skeptical of alternative medicine, but Carl is the real deal. You don't have to buy supplements, but if you have perplexing medical issues, you might find that paying $25 is a lifesaver!!

Carl at the Herb Shop has made a HUGE impact on my life. I have felt bad for years, I couldn’t lose weight even if I starved myself.
