This was my first time using this health dept because I live in another county. But I required a clinical service on a walk in basis so I came here. Top notch customer service. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. From reception to clinical staff, everyone was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

I am new at getting help for snap but the online application was easy an uploading of documents was easy as well. The only problem I have is with renewing an getting the information for some reason on my end I didn't get any emails even though on there end it said delevered but still I've gone up to the office an everyone was nice an polite an thete was nonwait at the time . They answered all my questions . I did have a call come in an the person never addressed who they were or affiliated with so I did not give them info but then called to the office which they answered and helped me with the situation they were all nice an Phyllis ( I hope I spelled it correctly ) was very pleasant an answered all the concerns I had. Thank you for for that because when a person is struggling to just have some help an trying to get social security disability an have no one it's nice for a person to be nice on the other side of the phone. Thank you

I came to the Health Department to get shots and a screening done for my 4 nieces and nephews. After sign-in and a short wait we called by Ms. Ranesha to come to the front desk. She was dressed very nicely and greeted us with a welcoming smile. Ms. Ranesha proceeded to help me with my situation, expertly dissected and solved a critical issue with the children’s records. All while, having and outstandingly, pleasant attitude! Ms. Ranesha Is the type of employee that you want as the face of your organization! Her positive energy and professionalism is outstanding! Give her a raise and promote her immediately!
Next, we saw nurses, Candace, Christian and Tamika. Ms. Tamika, Ms. Christian and Ms. Candace carried on that same positive attitude that we experienced at the front desk. Even though they were about to give the children, “scary shots”. They made my nieces and nephews feel it ease with their positivity and laughter. They also completed all of the screenings in a professionally efficient manner. I am so grateful to this team of ladies! Give them a raise immediately and promote them immediately!
And last, but not least! Ms. Chelsea Pederson took the time to email me back immediately with answers to most of my questions and she was honest enough to let me know that she didn’t know all of the answers, but she would help me find the answers. She also gave the children a starter school pack, a folder with resource information and a big bag of popcorn! Once again, I am extremely grateful! Give Ms. Pederson a raise immediately and a promotion immediately!

I would give this place a 5 if they would answer their phones. I called SEVERAL times and was caller number 1 for no lie 57 min. I ended up hanging up and just going in. We moved here from Arkansas this past week. And getting my kids enrolled has been a complete nightmare! But I tell you what AUDREY! was AMAZING!! She kept me in the loop of everything waiting on Arkansas to release my kids shot records. She was on top of it all. She really made me feel like she cared, She went above and beyond to help and act quickly as possible to get things going for the kids. The place was clean and super nice. There was a few workers towards the end that was really getting to it with working. Others at the beginning of the line was just playing on their phones and drinking energy drinks. " What a life that must be " but honestly Audrey and 2 other ladies that work beside her was working and getting people's stuff together. Can't say anything about the rest of them other than. Man must be nice to have a cake job just playing on phones and drinking energy drinks. Definitely not going to lie. Made me feel like this might of been the biggest mistake of my life is moving my kids out of Arkansas school to place them in Georgia. But after today Audrey made my thinking alot easier. Thank you sweet lady for all your kind and hard work on getting the kids on a path for their new school!

I woke up at 8 to try to get an appointment I called 3 separate times , they start me off “caller number 7” each time …I wait 30 minutes to get to caller number 2 just for them to hang up & it’s the same thing every time I call. So I call round 3 to finally get someone on the phone just for the lady to tell me “we’re not accepting appointments this late” & hang up once again. They should let you schedule your appointments online if nobody’s ever gone to pick up the phone.& all I wanted to come in to get is a pregnancy test.

It's ridiculous how long it takes them to answer the phone. I stayed awake after 2 back to back shifts just so I could TRY to be seen by them. Only to be left on the phone for almost 2 hours waiting for someone to answer. I even made sure I called before 8. Now I have to be in pain until Monday because of their lack of sincerity. It shouldn't take that long to start taking appointments.

The individual employees are great but how the state runs this is NOT great. The office is closed due to moving and no one has let me know and the office doesn't have a number or email available for those that need to pick up meds. So when infectious diseases are up in Houston County we all know why
