My family enjoyed our visit to Huck's General Store. Blue Ridge just had a snow storm, and Hucks was one of the first places to open back up.
The two employees there were very kind, and were really doing g a great job of working the crowd through recommendations and overall conversation.
There is a nice area for kids, really good Christmas ornaments (we are collectors), several puzzle sets to browse, and other "stuff".
Nice quaint shop for a visit next time you are in Blue Ridge!

Walked to this shop after getting off the train. They had several T-shirt options, old fashion candies that you can't find anymore, and homemade soaps. They were very friendly and willing to assist! We bought several shirts for the family, and they have held up well after lots of wear!

Swept up into a past I've only heard about in stories, Huck's General store is full of sweet nostlagia. Filled with treats from when I was a kid to when my grandparents were kids, this shop seems to have it all.

Besides the cavity case you might catch from just looking inside the window, there's fun little gifts for everyone. From t-shirts to games, favorite recipe items and condiments, I was able to get something for my Aunts and my little nieces and nephews.

They've also got the best variety of postcards, stickers and magnets if u really wanna go old school. So, better not leave Blue Ridge without making a Huck's run. Enjoy!

This place is amazing.. It took me back to a simpler time, my childhood came rushing back. It was fun explaining to my 6yrs how some of the old toys worked and showing her some of the old candies I grew up on. That's not all, they have something for everyone, from Tshirts, handcrafted soaps, to sauces and honey. The owner is super pleasant, and was super welcoming also helpful at every turn. Great store with lots of nostalgic candy, fun toys, and t-shirts and gifts. We went there multiple times during our stay in Blue Ridge and the service was always very friendly. Highly recommended.

A cool little shop that takes you down memory lane

An incredibly large assortment of candies, condiments, and, soft drinks.

Also, a large selection of hats, t-shirts and souvenirs.

You can buy single candies which is sold by weight.

One of a kind store - this is a must stop and go in kind of store. There is something for everyone. My family and I went in and we were in here forever. If you buy a bottled soda pop. They will pop the top for you right there. When you come in - what I am assuming is the owner- greets everyone and asks where your from. What a simple added touch. This reminded me of a store from when I was growing up and even had some of the candies from that time that I could share with my kids. Just an overall fantastic place.
