The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff member listened to what I was looking for and helped me choose a frame that looked great on me. She gave her honest opinion and is definitely knowledgeable about all the different aspects of lenses. One of the best and most helpful experiences when ordering glasses!

Aweful customer service! I know several people with the same insurance that go there an im being told they dont take my insurance! What a joke!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! First they lied to my wife and said that our insurance would cover the exam and glasses. Then they charged her $500 for a pair of glasses with basic lenses no upgrades. So I went in to see them and saw first hand that the staff definitely do NOT like Hispanics. After being pawned off several times I finally get an answer that the bill stands but at least we got a free exam…. Two weeks later I get another bill from them FOR A $155 EYE EXAM ON TOP OF THE $500. STAY AWAY!!!

I didn't realize they closed at 1pm on Fridays and needed to pick up my kids glasses before the weekend. I called them to let them know that knew they close at 1, but I was coming from Neodesha and I would be there right at one too pick up their glasses. They said ok. I drove all the way to Independence and get there at 1:01pm exactly and the doors are locked and nobody answers the phone. They all come out to leave for the day and I told them I called ahead of time and I just needed to pick up my kids glasses. They said they usually close right at one if they have no patients...but they knew I was coming though?! They said they couldn't do anything and just left....
So I pulled my kids out of school and made the trip to Indy for NOTHING after letting them know ahead of time and them saying ok. If they wanted to leave right at one, why wouldn't they say that they couldn't get it done today while on the phone and save me a trip?! SO RUDE.

Doctor Easter is the best. She got right on my glacoma instead of passing over it like the other doctors did. However when I ordered my lens there the week to ten days turned into 3 weeks. Then when edging the lens the machine slipped, as it does from time to time, is what I was told. So now we are waiting again. Next time I think I will just take my script else where. The staff was great however. I will be using Dr Easter again just not their place for glasses.

Dr. Kelley is amazing. She cares about her patients and their wellbeing. She takes time to explain everything to you and answers all your questions. We now live 2.5 hours away and refuse to switch to a new provider. The staff are all very knowledgeable and awesome to deal with. I would recommend ICare Optometry to anybody in the SEK area.

They were rude to me and lied about my insurance before the exam and picking out glasses. Incredibly overpriced as well.
