I have been a patient of Dr. Korleys for over 15 years, today is my last day ! Time to move on, get back to being treated and respected as a patient/customer deserves to be treated ! I would like to thank Greta for making my decision to change providers so easy, her disrespectful rude behavior is a true example of what IMA is about ! Dr. Korley is an amazing and competent Dr. However if you cant see him due to his office staff and canceling appointments he is not much help. I would like to thank Shelly for all of her help, she is what Dr.Korley used to be all about ! Thank you Shelly and Dr. Korley, as far as IMA and there new direction please remember , you reap what you sow "without customers/patients you have NO business" none !!!!!

I apologize in advance for the long read but I needed to vent my frustration with this office located on 4725 Hwy 98 S Lakeland Florida.
It started back in October 2022. I didn’t have access to my diabetes medication because of insurance gap. I called repeatedly trying to reach my doctor, at least twice I was told computers were down and they would pass along message. Needless to say, I received no return phone call. This went on for more than 2 months. Around the 1st of January of 2023 I called and was told my doctor who was Sonnadara was no longer practicing there. All this time I’m without my diabetes medication. Anyway finally I was told I had a new doctor Dr. Carrion and had an appointment the 31st of January. In the meantime my sugars are running high. I was told Dr.Carrion wanted me to have lab work before my visit. I went the day before my visit to have labs done, only to find out she never sent lab refferal so I couldn’t get labs done. I was told she forgot to send it in. Okay, so I go to the appointment. I told her I had pain in my left leg and feet. She checked my legs and gave me some medication for the pain. I called back a week later and told her that pain hadn’t improved. Asked her to please order a MRI or whatever to see what’s going on. Instead she wanted me to come back to see another doctor in the clinic. It was Friday evening ( I called early Friday morning) and she wanted me to come in on Tuesday. My point is she saw me already. I’m in pain and I diabetic.Possibly could have blood clot. I also told her I went to Urgent Care and that I was given muscle relaxers that wasn’t helping. I’ve lived all other the country. I’m also a senior citizen. I’ve never been treated so poorly. Not listening to my concerns and treating me like a child is not right. I’m not senile! At least not yet! Lol
Anyone who’s considering going to this clinic. Think twice! Ok maybe 3 times before going. If you do go. Pay attention to your provider. Are they truly listening to your concerns?For myself. “I’M ROYALLY PISSED” and will not be returning to this clinic. I need a doctor who listens when I say something is not right with the way feeling. For anyone reading this rant! Good luck and God bless!

This office is the best. Dr Holloway is an awesome doctor she is kind, caring and compassionate and is very knowledgeable I can’t say enough about how fortunate i m that she is my doctor she gets to the root of my problems with great results. Also nurse Shelly is amazing always cheerful and friendly they make going to to office enjoyable. I recommend IMA and Dr Holloway to everyone I know.

Complete waste of my time. I received an appointment reminder that had an address listed on the other side of town. I called and let them know I would be late due to going to the wrong location, and was told that would be okay. Shortly after I received another call from someone else in the office saying I was being marked as a no show. They apparently have Zero communication in their office and it is very apparent they have zero organizational skills on verifying correspondence is correct and concise.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. My wife and I have been patients here for many years. Our original Dr. who we saw for the first 4 or 5 years was awesome. She cared about us and took time to treat us like people. She answered every question and would listen when we talked, this help us work with her while she dialed us right in on any medication she would prescribe. Since she has left it seems like the staff is changing often and they constantly miss information , like ordering prescriptions. The Dr assigned to us now is very different. Very hard to work with and acts like he has better things to do. He misses appointments and will refuse to refill medication without notice, demanding a an office visit. He does not communicate well at all. I often feel like we are just cattle moving through the gates. Over the years under the care of Dr. Monica, and her nurse.... I felt so good about the care I referred more than 10 people to IMA. They have all gone elsewhere now and it appears we will as well.

IMA as big as your group is, do you have a process to follow up with your clients to see how we are being treated? Do you care about patient retention? In this world we live in today people are scared and need a place they can seek not just medical attention but advice as well.
Do not come to this medical group if you need medical attention, want to have some kind of rapport with your Dr.

I was last there in May for my annual gynecological exam. Never got the results for my pap, didn't get a breast exam even though breast cancer runs in my family, didn't even get an order for a mammogram. Asked for a referral for an eye specialist and did not receive that either. Have an appointment in October for lab follow up but the order was never put in for my labs. I don't know what the point is for my next appointment. Very disappointed.

I have been a patient there for a few months. My doctor is AMAZING, but the communication with reception is awful. I have called multiple times to get my blood work results and I was told “you will be fine. If it was life threatening, they would call you” and proceeded to force me to wait another 15 days until my follow up appointment that had nothing to do with the reason why I got blood work done. I’m also interrupted while I’m trying to explain why I’m calling, and have been waiting over a month for my results to “come back” when they just haven’t called me. I continue to be put on hold for 15+ minutes, and never get through to anyone. I understand how busy doctor’s offices can be, due to being in the medical field myself, but the way I’ve been spoken to over the phone is not professional. I hate to leave a bad review, but my experience since joining this facility for my medical needs has been awful. The doctor I see is amazing, and is so nice. I’ve just had a very bad experience with the front desk staff.
