This store is amazing! All of the workers are friendly and happy to assist you in any way possible. The deli workers go out of their way to make sure you get fresh food. They will fry your chicken tenders while you wait. The workers throughout the store tell you about specials they are having, and the cashiers are friendly, fast and efficient. I love this store and would highly recommend it to everyone. Great job Ingles! Keep up the good work. I gave you 5 stars because you truly deserve it.

You’d think I would’ve learned my lesson by now, but the joke’s on me. This is the third time I’ve gone into this store, picked out all my groceries, and made it to checkout—only to be told their card system is down.

Today, the cashier watched me scan every item without a word of warning. No sign on the door, no heads-up from employees, nothing. A simple notice or a quick mention from the cashier would have been appreciated.

Taking my business to Kroger from now on.

My wife and I went to the store this week. I was delightfully surprised by the cleanliness and organization of the products. I was also impressed by the quality of the meat I saw, wow, clearly fresh! I tried the Laura Lynn cottage cheese and loved it! The checkout was also awesome, they unloaded our cart for us, checked us out and offered to help us. We will definitely be back!

Ingles is probably the nicest, cleanest, and best-organized grocer in the Dawsonville area. Over the past eight years, I Have always found this store ultra clean and very well stocked in every department.

When you walk in the door, you immediately know you are in a quality store with the organization, large open isles, and bright lighting. Ingles easily has the largest selection in every department store in the area and reminds me of the Fred Meijer stores in Kentucky and Indiana between the selection and large, comfortable, uncluttered isles. Finding a shopping cart at the front entrance is never a problem; the carts are clean and in great working order.

In all of my visits, I have never had a poor or lackluster customer service experience; all of the staff members I have interacted with have been friendly, cheerful, and helpful. But, most importantly, they seem to enjoy their jobs and work.

They have the Ingles Advantage Card for rewards, which provides discounts. I dislike the reward card program. I would rather get the best price without having to use a card designed to drive customer loyalty instead of driving customer loyalty by offering the best prices on items I purchase backed by incredible customer service, but it is the way most grocers and stores now do business. In all honesty, most of the prices with any of the store loyalty cards is not a bargain, but the "regular" price without the card is overpriced.

Prices at Ingles are higher than most other local competitors, such as Kroger, Publix, and Walmart, in town. But, while the price may be higher on most items, the quality is usually much better. Hence the old adage, you get what you pay for. While the prices may be higher overall, you will still find great value by shopping at Ingles.

I purchase items monthly at Kroger, Publix, Walmart, and Ingles. Ingles's bakery, produce, and seafood departments are superior to any competitor in the area.

I love the store; it is very comfortable and easy to shop, and I will continue patronizing Ingles.

Nice location, clean with lots of parking spaces, lots of shopping carts, clear signage and much more.
I enjoyed the numerous checkout lanes and self check out options.
You can buy food, cakes, deli items, bagged ice, plants, play the lottery, play games etc.

A very nice looking store, like most other Ingles. However, disappointed with the subs and prepped food dept. Was going to order hot food, but choices limited, fried chicken and sad veggies (which come from gigantic cans).

Ordered Boars Head roast beef sub. Meat/cheese was pre-sliced, rolled and wrapped and kept in cooler. RB was somewhat pink, but pale compared to sandwich I saw in the case. As I asked for toppings, noticed spinach looked mushy. I had to ask if they had fresher. Employee got fresh bag from cooler. Employee finished assembling sub.

Sorry I didn't take pix of RB. Didn't look like Boars Head, as a lot of tiny fat grains running through meat. Was dry and not as tasty as what I buy in Publix.

Hubby bought large sweet tea, as only bottled sodas available. The tea was weak and tasteless sugar water, with not much color (See photo).
