The staff here is very unresponsive and were all laughing and cussing up a storm in the emergency room. We understand this is your job and it can be stressful but for you all to act so unprofessional is disturbing to people coming to you in a time of need. Do better

Update- when nurses were asked for help they all acted annoyed to have to get up from their bullpen area. Easily one of the worst hospitals we have ever been to and honestly may need to have someone look into them for malpractice.

This is one of the worst hospitals in the Denver metro area. My fiancee was admitted over the weekend due to her inability to walk suddenly at a concert. From the moment we were admitted to the moment we were discharge, the doctors never saw past the fact she is overweight. They sent us home after saying tests came back negative only to find out, the tests were abnormal. We were discharged with zero idea of what happened, a very expensive bill, and a recommendation to do talk therapy and start a weight loss program. The funny thing is, except for heavy exercise, not even sure what this would mean. My fiancee only eats like 1000 calories a day and is still overweight. I mentioned this fact but was quickly told this was an acute hospital and they don't deal with chronic conditions. Doctors were rude, nurses were rude, and the nicest person there was the person who helped us out to the car. Don't go here if you need actual answers, and don't come here if you're overweight and have non-related medical issues. They will fat shame you and assume everything you're going through has to do with your weight and nothing else.

Overall, good! The nurses were respectful and nice! Doctor seemed informed, professional and knowledgeable. The good outweigh the bad and that’s a good reason to go here. One star off because irrelevant questions to my issue were asked, like, “do you have STDs?!” I am not even sexually active, wtf! I’m also not sure what an IV had to be done twice, and for what?

I walked out with prescription I hope will help and no answers in regard to the main reason I went in for. The Cost: $4,000+ Make sure you have insurance!

My husband and I welcomed our first baby at this hospital and had such pleasant interactions with literally every single staff member that we encountered.
The RN Teira in L&D is beyond amazing and took such great care of me- truly can see her passion for what she does.
I saw two anesthesiologists since I ended up having a c-section, and both were so great and comforting the entire duration of being in the room. They made sure any questions or concerns were addressed, and truly helped me feel so at ease during a stressful time.
All of my postpartum nurses were awesome. You can see that they care for their patients and newborns, and they helped us in any way that we needed. Never made us feel silly for any questions that we had as first time parents. Kayla in lactation was also soo helpful and had great tips to give!
Communication between the staff always seemed to be top notch which is always appreciated when you’re the patient and want your care team taking the best care of you that they can.
I’d highly recommend this hospital for L&D.

We took our 4 year old in last night and the staff was all so kind and caring! Our nurse, Carolyn, was soooooo sweet to our kiddo, the people in Triage were so kind and even came back to check on our kiddo. His PA, Noel, was so patient while our kid just chatted away. Even the facilities lady who popped in took the time to tell my son not to be scared. When we left the whole staff said goodbye to him, even folks who didn't even have him as a patient. Even though he wasn't super sick like most of their patients, the staff still took great care of him (and us).

I just love this hospital - every time we have come here for various visits (ER, maternity, tests), we always get such great care. I truly feel like the staff here really care and take the time to make sure you feel comfortable about your care (or the care of your loved ones).

I wish I had noted every person's name, but I want to thank the ED for their care yesterday. You guys always take care of us!

The least welcoming hospital I have ever been too. I came in because my tooth was infected. They checked me in . And everything was fine and they acted like they would help me. I get checked in and they take me back to the room. Then the nurse comes in and tells me that they don't treat dental pain. I just don't understand why you needed to check me in and waste my time to tell me that. Not to mention the nurse made me feel like I was interrupting his afternoon because I was in pain. What a joke of a hospital. I'll be sure to travel out of Brighton next time I have an emergency
