The Rudest customer service ever!! Wasted my time to go up for nothing when they mailed my tag but I was rudely advised to just come to office. No wonder no one has bragged on their brag board !

NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE. Just like other people said. Husband and son went to transfer license plate from one car we were selling to another. Woman was rude and unhelpful. Had someone picked up the phone so we could ask a question, we would have known what all we needed to do this. Now they have to go back another day. Website says they close at 5. Sign on door says they close at 5. Woman was annoyed that they arrived at 4:20. She was ready to go home. She told them they close in 10 minutes. Fix your website. Fix the sign on your door. Answer your phone. And most of all, hire people who like working with the public and don't laud it over you as if you owe them something. Last I heard, these people are not volunteers; they get paid.

Heads up for those not in the know (when I went nobody knew):

•Short staffed so not open from 12 to 1 indefinitely.
•Also make sure your license is up to date before doing anything.
License is updated online because no DMV.

It wasn't a big deal as the line went by very fast but I did end up going during lunch and ended up enjoying some locally made donuts and sandwich nearby while I waited.

This was by far the best experience I've had while getting new tags. The staff was highly knowledgeable with helping me get the informant I needed to get my tag in a new county. With the COVID19 I was able to change my address online and they accepted the online confirmation and I got all my tags completely done in less than a half hour, including the 15 minutes to change my drivers license. I recommend this location to anyone in Jackson County!!
