I gave them two stars because they were able to get me in fast but let me assure you, not worth it in any situation. My daughter said he was unpleasant and my visit definitely confirmed it. Get on someone else’s books ahead of time. Dr Bazarte is very curt. Seems pretty miserable tbh. Not to mention that the portable office rattles like a tin can and is about to shake apart anytime someone walks inside. Everything is from 1980 as far as furnishings including the stains on the seats. He comes in from lunch with lunch meat hanging off his face, his staff didn’t tell him. His breath smelled like rot & halitosis. He argued with me about a spot on my eye like I was supposed to know what it was and kept repeating the name. I just left and didn’t bother having him explain it. They wrote my prescription wrong and I called them the first time to clarify what I should order and then when I placed my own order online the lens company denied it because it didn’t include astigmatism. When I called them they acknowledged the discrepancy but would not call the company directly to resolve the issue. I’ve been waiting 4 weeks already. Poor customer service standards & poor treatment to patients. He needs to reevaluate how he operates his practice (I wouldn’t even call it a practice because it was so po-dunk) Reel it in or retire Dr Bazarte.

I wish I could give 0 stars! This eye doctor was rude. The staff was rude. They barely did an eye exam. The reason I say barely is because I went to pearl vision a few days later and paid for an eye exam out of pocket and they did an amazing job! A full detailed exam asking me to read letters, pick which paragraphs I can see the best in front of me, and explained my astigmatism to me. Bazarte didn’t say much of anything.I had to google things once I left as I was confused on why I couldn’t get colored contacts. I thought he was racist until I saw the reviews. He just do everybody like that. He seems like he hates his job. The staff was not helpful either. It needs to be shut down. IT WAS A WASTE of money and the glasses are not cute. Find another eye doctor don’t waste your time. I paid a lot at pearl vision but good customer service is worth it!

The doctor’s bedside manner is poor. Talks to patient in a very demeaning way. Front desk staff are abrupt, rude. She violated HIPPA by asking patient her medical history at the front desk instead of asking in a more private setting. Staff lack of insurance knowledge. Totally waste of our time and money going there. Will not go back.

Horrific doctor and staff! They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people the way they do. 1of 2 things needs to happen, Anger Mgmt therapy OR Retirement, STAT! I reported them the day of my visit that I LEFT after being yelled at...I don't believe they have ever read the "code of conduct" for the insurance. That was reported as well.

Not friendly at all. Woman sitting behind desk had no personality at all. Dr was blah also. Not a good selection of frames. Had to settle for frames that I really didn't like. After putting on my new glasses, the woman who brought them out to me said to bring them back if they don't fit right. Didn't even look to see how they fit my face.After waiting for three weeks to get them they could have at least checked the fit. It's ironic that the Dr didn't wear a mask but made you wear one.

So I went here 06032019 for an exam and found the service to be subpar. They seemed more burdened by me than anything else. After the exam I looked around for some glasses but didn’t really fine anything I liked. When I told the woman that I didn’t find anything I liked and that I wanted to get a copy of my prescription to the shop elsewhere she got kind of upset. I ended up going to another retailer and found out that they had pre-authorized my insurance so I had some troubles actually getting my new glasses. Today on September 13 I go back to get a copy of my prescription to get another pair of glasses and I’m reminded why exactly I had such a bad experience because even just getting a copy of my prescription they were very short and rude with me. Would not recommend.
