I read a bunch of positive reviews before going 30 minutes out of my way to get my glasses repaired here. I walked in just to be told they couldn’t fix the arm that was broken off. He said I could take them to a jeweler to get them soldered, because they don’t do it here. Which was very confusing since many of the reviews I read specifically mentioned soldering. I understand if maybe they don’t have the people available to do that anymore, but maybe make that clear somewhere.

Real Good

When we needed a new Optician we went to Karen Optical without hesitation! Selection, staff, price and store ambience are all excellent. Robert can repair any type of eye wear. I know that for a fact because his tiny, tiny solder job on my favorite pair of glasses was so excellent I've told everyone about it! Bottom line, as long as I have to wear glasses I will only shop at Karen Optical!

Thank you, Karen Optical, for a most satisfying first visit. It will not be my last; I’m heading to you to order my glasses today. From my first call with Beth-detailing issues with three pairs of damaged eyeglasses purchased elsewhere-who was empathetic and helpful-to my experience with Drew, who was patient, caring and determined to do all he could to “save” 3 not-inexpensive pairs of glasses for me. Everyone was attentive and warm to not only me, but to all who called/entered. I left extremely satisfied. Joyful we have this wonderful Family business in Pike Creek, and also deeply grateful to Drew for his expertise and kindness.

Great experience with this shop! My toddler broke my glasses this morning, and while my frames were unable to be repaired, Karen replaced my lens in new frame within 1 hour!! Definitely will be back! Thank you!

Had great experience at this shop. They worked with me to make sure I was able to consider all my options, helped make sure my insurance was fully utilized, and delivered as expected and on time. I went there on a recommendation, and in turn I would recommend them to anybody. Really professional and friendly folks. Best experience buying glasses that I can remember

Not great. The frames were as overpriced as asking $50 for a pack of gum. A joke. The staff act like that's an insult, to question their prices.
It's not, the insult is $50 for a pack of gum. Their website did not permit asking private questions, that's where I went first. There are frames available online for $35, and that's a midline. Frames AND lenses. And correct, opticians will tell you it's not right and not give you your own measurements.
I honestly wish I had a better experience, I've lived in Pike Creek for 46 years, seriously, I went there when I was a kid. The other staff was kind and receptive. They took my card and my signature with the greatest aplomb. If they were just a little better priced, or even in agreement, yes, it's a lot, we're a small business, I'd feel better about the whole thing.

Oh, and also, the first time I went in, it was 5.30, they close at 6. Said, "No, it's late, we're closing" I get that, no problem.
