Horrible people!! They lie and tell you that you have insurance just for you to be so excited to get glasses for them to tell you haha you don't have insurance you have to pay out of pocket even tho I know I have insurance I pay for it!
This place is horrible!! They don't care about you or anyone else!

Wow now looking at all the reviews they have just as many bad ones as they do good...that has to be telling..

Horrible experience! They lie, they won't stop talking to lesson, and they are just so rude. I'd rather get all my eyelashes ripped out than go to this sorry excuse for an eye doctors officer.

The doctor listened to me because I had an unusual situation . He did an excellent surgery, and I am very grateful . The staff is also very helpful and kind .

I absolutely agree with other reviewers that the staff at the glasses shop part of this business is very rude. New customers: You may like to know in advance that frame prices there start at around $500, and if you are not looking in that price range you will immediately be treated differently once the lady at the desk knows that. This awkwardness is unavoidable because when you walk out of your doctor appt, the procedural pipeline places you directly in front of this lady before you can receive your prescriptions. But her job at that point is 99.9% to sell you a $500+ pair of glasses (or treat you like dirt, depending on how that goes) and only .1% to give you your printed prescription. She had already said "Have a good day, ma'am" in that horrible disrespectful way that usually only northerners use the word ma'am like 3 times to dismiss me before I finally got my contact prescription. But honestly the whole thing is kind of hilarious, and if I go again I would love to ask that lady about the business structure and who Dr. Kilgore is and what share of the eyeglass profits each doctor gets. The actual eye exam was just fine!

My daughters & I have been going here for a few years now since the company I work for changed vision care. We love our Eye Dr- Mr. David. For him, we give 5 ⭐️. He’s very straightforward (black and white) & has some humor to him. Some may take offense to him, or think he’s rude. However, if they want someone more personable that’s not what he’s here for & there’s other drs in the office. I gave this 3 ✨ stars because in the years, I was hoping it would change. Now I can finally express my frustration and the 2 complaints I have I would hope can be better.
#1 they can fax (not all schools uses this option), they can mail or have a hard copy of RX but they can’t email? It would save me time and not have to go there to grab it so incase the school district needs these RX to confirm my child has gone to eye dr, (need asap). I have to do this on a lunch otherwise when getting off work, is too late and office is closed.
#2- When coming here, I’d hope to be in and out in an hour
I’m here for 3 hours. When we were seeing a different Eye Dr ( Hubbard Eye Clinic) years back, it didn’t take the amount of time to see one & go through what we needed to in the amount of time Kilgore is. I have to take a full day for vacation time to knock out my daughter & I & then make up lunch time to take another daughter because they can only see 2 patients at a time. If you’re needing to make an appointment, schedule it for hours aside or request a vacation day otherwise you’ll be returning to work/ school very late!

Dr. Schwarz takes care of 2 of my children and now me, and he has been VERY kind, knowledgeable, and professional during each visit. All of the girls who take us back to get us started have been sweet, along with the front desk and the optical staff. No complaints! Also, any time I’ve called for an appointment or question, they answered 🤷🏼‍♀️😉 and were helpful. Thanks Kilgore Vision Center!

Eye vision exams are fair. Staff that deal with eyewear selection, fitting and follow up are unprofessional and discourteous. Same eyewear and exams are available elsewhere are far better prices. I won't be back.

Dr Kilgore "Cataract surgery is like golf, you seek a hole in one, but close is reality."The second eye is always worse or always better" Reality, Expect to wear glasses and pay $30 for exam after surgery! Not happy with my experience Small thing, always look at the responses a business leaves or dosen't!
