I have been going here for a couple years now instead of a mega operation like Walgreens. I really appreciate the high level of service, the efficiency, and the pharmacy's commitment to its customers. It is a wonderful local option if you live in our around UCity.

Four years ago, it was great: small store, helpful staff, even ordered my specific manufacturer of medicine knowing I was their only customer who needed it.

Now it's a mess. There are a ton of employees, many interns or students, and mistakes are being made without apology. Here are two specific situations that caused me to dump Kismet:

1. They are not proactive: if my doctor isn't responding to a refill request, they just let it go so that I have to call my doctor's office instead. No matter how many times I tell Kismet that my doctor's office doesn't respond to the automated messages and they have to call, Kismet doesn't call. Once, they were out of a medicine I needed (after letting the unfilled request sit for a week and a half) and I was told to call around to area pharmacies to coordinate a delivery from them. Ridiculous.

2. They are not paying attention to details and it caused me to end up with someone else's medication. I was expecting a new medication, and if I hadn't checked the bottle, I would've taken a medicine that would've sent me to the hospital. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the mistake, so I can't file a complaint. Instead, I'm filing a Google Review. I now know the name, address, phone number, physician, and sensitive personal medical knowledge of someone I shouldn't. They're supposed to verify each medication, but they just verified the first and assumed the second was correct.

3. Nothing is ever their fault. When I complained I had been given a medicine I wasn't prescribed, I was told that I was mistaken, and had called them earlier. Bizarre... When I tell them it's been a week and my medicines still aren't ready they blame my doctor's office (which I told them about) or me for requesting a refill too late.

Oh and 4. They started selling aromatherapy and crystal healing stuff. That's not medicine, that's profiteering.

They try to be nice by addressing their mistakes but they think that makes up for it. I don't want the mistakes to be made in the first place, since their mistakes could've put me in the hospital yesterday.

Great people, great consistency and just an overall great experience! They are determined on getting me my meds in a good time frame. With so many other pharmacies turning my physicians down they always get me together!

Nice staff, not overly crowded.Staff is very personable with clients they are willing to take the time to explain how you should take your medication and any side effects what not to take with each medication. Extremely knowledgeable staff and very patient,professional and friendly I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND I WILL RETURN THIS IS MY NEW PHARMACY FROM THIS DAY FORWARD.

I don’t know where to start I was living in Louisiana during the pandemic my 80-year-old mother was struggling to get her prescriptions from a national pharmacy a friend told me about Kismet FREE delivery. I called them expecting for this to be a hard costly transition for myself and my mother well I was wrong it was an easy, FREE, flawless transition. Fast forward I relocated back to St. Louis 1/23, and they now fill my prescriptions. I adore Mona, Arthur, and the entire staff. Yesterday my mother changed her prescriptions and Medicare insurance by mistake to a phone order service. I was frantic so I stopped by Kismet and Arthur (owner) told me exactly what to do. I am thankful and grateful that you are my pharmacy. I also love eye shopping and seeing your new merchandise in the general store.

Arthur and Emily and the team really take care of your family! Really enjoyed my time there. It brings back the feel of your neighborhood pharmacy with a pharmacist who knows you by name and really cares about you. Excellent service and patient care!!
