I've been a patient of Dr. Browning for over 20 years. I postponed this visit longer than I should have. Dr. Boyd was excellent. She did a very thorough exam and was very helpful with ways to improve my vision. I need very precise vision in both my profession and hobbies. I am grateful to have a very knowledgeable and skilled optometrist who cares about her patients. Thank you Dr. Boyd.

Like the former folks, and love the new ones too. Great care, nice frame selection, polite staff. Glasses feel and fit great - prescription is spot on. So happy to be able to continue to get great eyecare right here in Lake County.

I really miss Dr Browning!
Under the new Konocti View everything is about the money for them. If you’re late due to PGE trimming trees, or a school bus on Hwy 20 (who won’t move over & let cars by) and makes you do their route withe them … too bad, reschedule, could be charged. I really worked to get there and was 15 min. late. And it’s not like we have a bridge across, and even planning to come early, we don’t always know with one road in and out what will happen. If you CN an appointment not in the window allowed, you could be charged, transferring records, $15! They just they dime and dollar you to death. Now they take Medicare but not VSP through our Union. TOO PRICY people!

I brought my glasses in for a repair(arm replacement), when I picked them up, there was a deep scratch on my lenses. When I called the guy who replaced the arms, stated he saw the scratch but did not do it. He said he would talk to a supervisor and call me back in a few minutes. That was yesterday and I have not received any calls.

Ordered contact lenses through previous owner. Contacts were never right, not the right color and right lens continually fogs up. Came in after ownership changed. The attitude was "well, that was' not us, so we can't help you. Told me I used my "warranty" to get another color. That was a suggestion by the staff to see if they were darker, they weren't. Now I am wearing over 2 year old lenses because the new ones aren't wearable. I think it is appalling that a potential customer gets screwed over because of what happened with the old owner. Guess they don't care about winning a customer back. Doctor was nice, Kevin, the monotone "office manager" is a jerk. You would think, being new to the area, they would want to attract people, not drive them away.
It has now come down to my calling vision insurance multiple time, they call Konocti Optometry and them being told forget it. No doctors in the area either open or taking VSP...thanks for the screw over!

From my first conversation to our first visit my husband and I felt warmly greeted as new patients to this practice and staff was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of all their products including insurances.
