Our house was promised in the months of November 2021 than after the closing was postponed for 2 times finally we close with several issues on last Friday.
They don’t care customer satisfaction or atleast minor to major requests.
They never respond for my questions, got a poor quality dishwasher and a cheap rectangle tub instead of expensive oval shape.
They promised us a stem vacuum as they walk our house with dirty shoe, the water came out from tub which was broken while fixing, this was before closing our house.
I don’t recommend lennar for any person. We bought a Preston model house and we got is broken pieces.
All the cabinets, doors were broken Multiple drywall issues.
I read lot of bad reviews regarding lennar in social media I regret my purchase.

Lennar is super fast to do the mortgage process, get your money, deposits etc, do closing and then nobody cares anymore ? i still waiting ( after i closed since 11/25 ) to get my home, a lot of issues, home orientation and celebration delayed 3 weeks, i complained about the position of the water line since it’s by the entrance in front of the door ( suuuuper ugly) and it was supposed to be by the garage hidden… at this point i dont even know if they will change the position because none of the 3 construction managers are answering me or my emails, customer support doesn’t take care of construction issues, what a nightmare ?

Within a year at the home; pavers spacing apart 1/4 - 1/2 inch… informed not covered under warranty. Rusting in the shower with water all over the place, not covered under warranty. Was told to goto amazon and buy i dont know what to help keep water in shower instead of all over the bathroom. They only thing they covered were the towel bars that kept falling off the wall.. they had to come a few times to fix. I didn’t bother calling them for the crown molding; spacing in between walls and ceiling.. i did myself. The vendors they hire poorly constructed many areas of the house. All the employees representing Lennar have been great; they do the best that they can with the cards dealt to them. The higher ups in Lennar management don't care. Referred to a warranty which they emailed. Many pages; should have hired a lawyer during the buying process. I didn’t think I would have any problems having the pavers covered or bathroom. It appeared to be a common thing to be covered. So homebuyer, be aware and careful. Read the fine print. Upper management at Lennar is not honorable. All the employees i have dealt with at the frontline were awesome and helpful. Many of them actually felt bad they couldn’t help me. Lennar should take more pride in the end result of what their vendors are building. Craftsmanship and honor does not exist with Lennar management or their vendors. This kind of work should be illegal; they get away with it because of the high demand in home in florida. If enough of us reach out to the Floridian Government to help with oversight, we can minimize other people from becoming “victimized” in their building process. If you need help, reach out to FDLE financial crimes and the chamber of commerce. They can be easily be found online.

We purchased our home in Connerton in September. In the middle of November I noticed water coming from under our kitchen island. I made the warranty claim and Lennar immediately sent a plumber out to stop the leak.

The plumber discovered that during the install of the cabinets, the main pipe taking water and garbage disposable waste was broken and had been draining under the island instead of into the plumbing.

The pipe was fixed and DRIRITE was scheduled multiple times to come out to “dry out” the space. We had to take time off work each time it was scheduled because it was during normal business hours.

It wasn’t until the end of December that Lennar tried to schedule fixing the large portion of drywall removed from the island and their initial plan wasn’t to pull the cabinets out and assess damage and/or clean the sewage out from under the island, they were just going to patch the drywall and be done with it.

Now, in the beginning of January, they have scheduled for the removal of the island, removal of the cabinets and removal of drywall so it can be properly fixed. The problem is, they refuse to schedule workers during any time other than normal business hours, meaning if we want our home fixed, we will have to take three more days off of work. Lennar does not consider this an emergency, so they won’t pay for the completion of the work during non business hours.

Lennar will work hard to get you into the home, but the quality of the work and subsequent warranty work that you will need will be subpar. We have already dealt with multiple issues with the home, some resolved in a timely manner and some definitely not.

The community is great, however it has not been worth the sacrifice of reviving a quality home with a company who cares about their customers.
