I had a leslie tech come to my house to solve some electrical issues with the thermostat. Although he offered no solution to the problem (Charged $178.60 for the service) he proposed that I change the filter. He gave me a price to change only the top mount for the filter ($244.94) or change the entire filter and top mount for $799.94.

He suggested that I also replace sand and explained to me that the sand he preferred cost more money because it was "more effective" at $34.99 per bag versus regular sand that Leslie sold for $19.99 per bag. I went to the store and I placed the order for the filter and for the sand that cost $19.99 per bag. This morning Matt, the tech told me that it was company policy to only use the more expensive sand and that in addition to the $799.94 he would also charge me for the filter top at the additional cost of $244.94. Since I knew that the $799.94 price for the filter included the top as well, I refused the installation. Finally, he was also wanting to charge me for the installation of the filter when the price for the filter does include installation. This was confirmed by the Leslie company this morning when I called to verify the information. Today, I found out that Leslie's tech, Matt is not a honest individual. Obviously I have reported this to the store and to the company and if the company does not respond with clarification, the company as well is fraudlent. I am not going to seek their service again. IF you do, please be very careful because they will more than likely rip you off.

Went there few weeks back and the girls that used to work there were very nice and helpful. Now there is a guy, a store manager, very rude, disrespectful, unprofessional who couldn't talk to me because "I am a woman and it was obvious I didn't know or understand anything about pools". Also asked me to go away, to a different place if I didn't like the way he was treating me. This is the worst customer service ever.

The previous week, this man recommended the use of certain chemicals. A week later, we had the same results on the tests, and asked him what was going on. He denied that he talked to me at all. When I showed him the piece of paper with his own handwriting, he got very upset and started to belittle me.
No wonder the girls aren't there any longer if this man treats women like second class citizens.

As I said, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Very nice and helpful man working on a Saturday morning when I went earlier this summer (sorry I’ve since forgotten his name). I don’t live super close, but will revisit this store because of the customer service. I have been to other Leslie’s but this will be my preferred location now. Thanks!
