I have been seeing Dr. Megan Foreman at Lyons Health and Wellness for over a year now, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care I have received, both in-person and through telehealth online appointments. Dr. Foreman is an outstanding family practitioner who truly goes above and beyond for her patients.

Whether visiting the clinic or attending an online appointment, I am always welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, which immediately makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Foreman consistently takes the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly understand my medical history. Her compassionate and attentive approach makes me feel heard and valued, no matter the format of the appointment.

Dr. Foreman’s ability to explain medical issues clearly and understandably is impressive. She provides comprehensive treatment plans and answers all of my questions with patience and clarity. After being told again and again that extreme fatigue, body aches, abnormal periods, depression, etc. were all a part of “normal aging” for women I was extremely lucky to have found Megan who had a very different view of what feeling good could look like for a women my age. She has literally changed my life and did it by seeing me as a whole person, evaluating everything from diet to hormones. She is the first and only provider I’ve seen that created an evidence-based plan integrating many aspects of my physiology, which, in retrospect, is what was obviously needed but which primary care and ob/gyn just wouldn’t/couldn’t do. I have since realized that the ob/gyn specialty is basically just contraception and pregnancy while primary care simply doesn’t have the time/training to properly manage women’s health. And let’s be honest, women’s bodies are amazing and complex! Women live longer, have demanding careers, and man am I tired of women getting the short straw in medical care. Of all the wellness and self-care I have invested in over the years, nothing has had a bigger impact than what Megan has done for me. All the labs and some meds covered by insurance and frankly, just feeling better is worth way more than money. It’s my life, I deserve to feel good in my body!
