I recently had a friend who was a resident at Martin Coast. I was extremely satisfied with the Facility, the cleanliness of the facility, the staff and their leadership team. My friend was well taken care of and the staff were attentive to the needs of my loved one. The compassion that was displayed was impressive. The Therapy team did a great job with rehabilitation. I can say the overall experience in a tough situation was pleasant. Thank you Martin Coast!

My mother was in this facility for 3 weeks. She had not walked in months, after receiving rehab she was able to successfully walk out of the facility and her wound was almost healed. I was there daily and had great interactions with the staff and other residents. The staff were great, I would recommend Martin Coast.

If I could give 0 stars I would ! If you love your loved one … DO NOT SEND THEM HERE …. majority of the staff do not care except maybe one or two. You complain about certain things and nothing is never done. If the patient ask to use the bathroom and is capable of using it with a little assistance, the cnas will tell the patient to use it on themselves. CNA’s here are extremely lazy!! No compassion for the patients just the check!!!!! the only time they are urgent in caring for the patients is if the family member is present …I’ve heard them say ( so and so family is here they need to be changed) that was their Que to get on it .. there’s SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE !!!!!!!!!!

Wrote a SCATHING review @ a yr. ago & was asked(NOT 2 SUTTELY)to remove it! SHOULDN'T HAVE! Been here OVER SIX(6) YEARS, place's been sold at least 4x's,SAY WHAT!!
My experience in "dealing" with "this place" is, in a word,HORRENDOUS!!!
Only redeeming factor(s),there are 2(IN SIX YEARS),that I've had the pleasure to be associated with in this facility are 1) the woman,LADY's more like it, who answers & directs calls!! One of the few(VERY FEW) people employed here that l can actually hold a DECENT conversation with(except management).Karen is A BREATH of FRESH AIR,to me anyway! Gonna be a drag & GREAT LOSS when this LADY leaves her post---DON'T RETIRE, KAREN!!!
And 2) a FEW of the aides. This place CAN NOT keep decent(ABOVE avg.)aides. I've talked to them,when it wasn't hard to understand them(& vice versa), & they've explained to me SOME, not all,of the reasons for moving on. NONE OF THEM FLATTERING TO THIS FACILITY!!
Would LOVE to have a look at $$$ coming in,insurance payments, state & federal monies, ALL INCOMING MONEY & ALL EXPENDITURES---from property tax to trash removal & EVERYTHING/ANYTHING in between!

We visited our friend there today. Majority of staff was eating popcorn and just standing around. When we asked a simple question we were scolded in a very unprofessional way. Staff for the most part was uncaring and rude. It's almost as if they don't care to help the patient get better. Do not send your love one there.

Nurses Jennifer and Melissa are rock stars who stand head and shoulders above all other nurses. Their concern compassion professionalism set them apart from a group of mediocre at best nurses. Thank you Melissa and Jennifer for all you do. In a facility where most nurses and aides spend their shifts talking on their phones via ear buds or Bluetooth devices your commitment to traditional compassionate nursing are a breath of fresh air and so very appreciated.

This facility should be shut down! When found my mother unresponsive with a temp of 105 in septic shock. They did not even realize it until ems was in her room with a stretcher. She has bed sores that no one told us about. She is now in the ICU. The people running this facility should be in jail.

Recently my younger sister was brought to this facility. She was in a hospital in Boynton Beach. For 3 weeks she couldn't talk, walk , or stand. Much to my surprise they have her in a special ward for people who have possible dementia. The ward was well staffed with people who knew what they were doing!! I came there with my wife and she was impressed with how well she was doing she was talking and communicating ideas that were more memory than actual topics. That being said she was coming along so much better than I had expected. Her ward head nurse had a good handle on how to handle her. We stayed about an hour, as we said our goodbyes she stood up from her chair and gave me a great big hug . I was shocked that she could do that. I thanked everyone for their support and look forward to seeing her next week. Thank You all and God Bless everyone there it surely put me at ease Bill McCoy
