I have been going here for a while now and highly recommend this practice. Jade Coats is a great optometrist and will keep working with you to help solve any issues you may be having with your eyes. Bob in optical also does a great job should you need some glasses or contacts.

I saw Dr. Coats and her staff this afternoon. They were very thorough, professional, and courteous. I truly enjoyed the experience and I received both a retinal exam, since I'm diabetic, as well as a prescription for glasses. Dr. Coats reviewed the past results from my ophthalmologist as well as next steps in my future eye care. I will continue coming back.

My 14yr old daughter has had challenges with eyesight and adolescent myopia for a few years. She has a significant astigmatism in her right eye. Today we saw Dr Coats for a fresh look and new take on a plan for her eyesight.

I’ve been going to McDonald’s Eye Associates for several years. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. I see Dr Coates and she is very personable. I highly recommend her and McDonald’s Eye Associates. They also have an eye glasses and contact lenses office in the same office . One stop shop , it’s great and they accept most insurances .

Bob is the best at fitting glasses! However, after going to the same eye doctor for at least five years, they changed their policy so you have to come in and try on contacts every time they order a new brand for you, which is a massive inconvenience with an 8 to 5 schedule. It would be one thing if they would stay open till six, or just give me the contacts to try at home and then make an appointment if something actually was misfitting, which rarely happens. Not to mention, my contacts are weighted and it typically takes a half an hour before I can tell if they’re really situated and I definitely don’t have that much time to kill to try on several pairs of contacts with them in the clinic. Just sad to see that their policies have inconvenienced patients so much over something so minor that they could trust a 20 year contact wear with.

Wonderful team! From check-in to the visit was seamless experience, and they took the time to ask pertinent questions and give me valid feedback for my situation. I use my eyes for fine detail work, and they helped me get the best vision for my needs. Dr. Coats is a lovely human being inside and out, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
