Edit: Apology accepted. Wish you would have just said this information (extra 10 seconds to say this) instead of hanging up on me. We all have bad days but I didn't deserve that. Will update my stars for your apology though. I appreciate the quick reply, apology and explanation.

I bring my friend once a month to pick up her pain meds at this pharmacy. I do not use it because my doctor is in Jefferson. I called this morning to see if they had the pain meds in and they said no. Ok, no problem. Told my friend they didn't have them as she is about to have her doctor send them there. She told me they were getting them in today. I called back to confirm they were getting their shipment in today and was told "we are not going to play that" and he hung up on me. I'm still fuming that his response as it was. I love when small businesses make it but with attitude like that, growing his business will be hard. I know I wouldn't use them under no circumstances after that.

Awesome!! I don't take regular medications but had to stop in one day for syringes since I ran out. My cat is a diabetic and needs injections twice a day. The pharmacist and staff were very helpful in getting what I needed for my furbaby.

Horrible customer service. I had a prescription sent there and told them I could not pick it up for 4 days. They said that was fine. When I went to pick it up, first they couldn’t find the name in their system, then they finally found it but said they never received the prescription from the doctor, even though I had called a few days before and was told they had it. Then they called another pharmacist at home and he said they didn’t have the prescription in stock and were not able to order it. They could have called to tell me and I would have gone elsewhere. By the time I found this out my doctors office was closed, so now I have to wait til Monday to ask doctor to send prescription to another pharmacy. They were not even apologetic or sorry. I was giving a small local pharmacy a chance, but I will go back to CVS and Walgreens. McElveens pharmacy is horrible. Do not go there!,,

I've been going to Mc Elveen's Pharmacy for 20years. It's like walking into the TV show Cheers where everyone knows your name. They say hi name, ask how you and your family are doing.
Your prescriptions are ready within 5-10 minutes after you come in. They're also ready fast when the Dr calls them in. The only time you have to wait for a medication is when they have to order it. Then you only have to wait till noon the next day .
