Dr Angelos was great…and his team ! Most of the nurses were great! But more attention needs to be paid to Delirium and nurses need to show more compassion ?icu nurses and ccu nurses should be made more aware of the importance of caring and general med surgery needs so much help!!! The young girl at night is so very rude! However the CNA s are wonderful… thank goodness for that!

Yes I don't think I will ever go back to this hospital. I was so upset and my husband was furious. I went in because yes I take pain medication on a regular basis for other health issues. I went and did laundry at a laundromat and vacuumed my car. The next day my husband went and I went and ran some errands and we got home and I went to go to the restroom and all of a sudden we started having the worst muscle spasm in my lower back that I have ever had in my life. By that morning I could not move. I was in so much pain and my pain medication wasn't touching it and that's what concerned me and I was very worried that something was actually wrong so I went in. My husband made me go to the ER and Dr. Chris rackoff was the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. He came in asked what's going on and as soon as he found out that I take pain medication. His whole attitude changed even after I told him. I don't want any pain medication if my pain medication is not working that tells me something's wrong. I am just here to find out what is wrong with my back. He gave me every excuse he could possibly think of on why he couldn't order an MRI and there was nobody there to read it and all this other stuff and then he offered to give me a pain medication called toradol after he had looked at my allergy list and when my husband said no. I'd rather you not kill my wife. Thank you. His reaction was well. What exactly does toradol do to her and my husband had to inform him. It stops her breathing and her heart and he just rolled his eyes. I had never been upset this much. We were in and out of that ER in less than 10 minutes and I might add that they were not busy whatsoever. This doctor just didn't give a crap and I will be filing a formal complaint so I do not recommend this ER. If you absolutely have to go in I just make sure the doctor isn't going to Chris Rackoff But this is just my experience

I had to have unexpected surgery thankfully Dr. Guthrie is the Best!!! Everyone took great care of me from Tonia, Debbie, Sheri, and Kery in OPS to Ben, Jesse, Amanda and Ashley in surgery oh and of course Todd Decarlis and Dr Guthrie!
Mercy Mt. Shasta is the only place to come for all your Healthcare needs especially surgery they have the best surgeons and staff!!!

Absolutely great as always. The ER is always fast and thorough regardless of the reason you are there, major or minor. The Mt. Shasta Mercy Medical Center is the superior hospital in Siskiyou County by far.

Hospital stay one night with great night RN & helpers.

Complaint: I was a hip replacement and there was no potty riser seat to sit on. And happy I had my own walker & reacher with me so I could get up & have PT

Over all it was a short visit
