Mountain Mamas in Blue Ridge is an absolute gem! The coffee is fantastic, made even better with their homemade syrups. The sourdough waffles were simply amazing, and the sourdough sandwiches were equally delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re looking for a great coffee stop or a delicious bite to eat, this is the place to be. Highly recommend if you’re in Blue Ridge!

We parked for free on the Main Street just a few steps away from this bustling microcosm of the town where the aroma of freshly ground beans mingled with the chatter of locals and tons of tourists were catching up over steaming mugs of coffee and small bites.

The smallish space was constantly packed, with wooden tables crammed together. The restaurant was cut down the middle with a constant flow of hungry customers waiting to place their orders. Of course it is the holidays, it may have a better feel during less hectic time.

We found a long table made for 6 which was overflowing with trash. We cleaned the table ourselves (shame on those who left it that way). The baristas, a friendly bunch with perpetual smiles (I could not have been that nice with some of those folks), expertly navigated the chaos behind the counter, calling out orders over the hum of the espresso machine as they frothed milk for the latest creative holiday lattes and cappuccinos.

We ordered from both the seasonal and all year menus: The Woodsman Latte ($7) with espresso, maple, milk and roasted pecan syrup and a Hikers bagel ($10) with avocado, red onion, cream cheese and micro greens on a everything bagel. My mom had drip coffee ($3.50) you serve yourself and a blueberry muffin and hubby just had drip coffee and shared my bagel. The food was tasty and hot, coffee on the stronger side but good, for my latte I did ask for the syrup to be light, if you like it sweeter you can ask for more, they are very accommodating.

And of course, adding to the cozy holiday feeling, Christmas music played overhead. So, whether it is a quick caffeine fix on the way to work or a lengthy catch-up with friends, go and enjoy!

This spot saved us as we were super exhausted and looking for a way to revitalize. The staff were super sweet and there are a variety of options to choose from. The matcha was alright, but the hot chocolate was to die for, easily top 3 in my life.

The coffee flight was really good, and each of us found a favorite! Highly recommend if you are in the area, there are also other shops and boutiques to look around so it is worth your time!

I am so glad I visited Mountain Mama’s Coffee Lounge while in Blue Ridge!!

The Atmosphere was inviting and relaxing! The service was great and the food was just as amazing as the coffee.

Per the barista’s recommendation I had a hot BANANA'S FOSTER,( ESPRESSO, BANANA, CARAMEL, CINNAMON, with whole milk). I also enjoyed a MAMAS GRANOLA (HOUSE COCONUT GRANOLA, GREEK OR COCONUT YOGURT, FRESH BERRIES, HONEY). It was by far the best yogurt I have ever eaten!!

The baristas were friendly, the coffee and food was amazing what else can you ask for?!

I will definitely be back when in the area!

This place was packed to the door...and the staff was handling it fantastically. The coffee was delicious-we had a cortado and a latte. You can't go wrong with any of the pastries-we had a Danish, chocolate chip cookie and a morning bun, all of them were perfect. The sitting area was warm and welcoming. Great little coffee shop.

The locals already know, but this has to be one of the best places to get coffee & small eats in town. Service was great even considering there were 10+ people in line.

Absolutely amazing can up here for our honeymoon and came in for a coffee. And it was delicious we got the salty maple mama and the no baked cookie Iced. It was so good we came back the next day! 10/10 would recommend

This is my favorite coffee shop in Blue Ridge. They make everything in house. The vibes are cozy and a nice view of the city park. I got the Girl Scout cookie latte and my friend got the Bananas Foster latte. We also got a Smores Croissant and a Chai Pop Tart, both homemade.
