Came in here the other day to ascertain if they had Urgent Care services. Arrived at 4:30p. They close at 5p. When I walked in and approached the window, the heavy set blonde lady looks at me, says she will be right with me and quickly shuts the window. I sit down and wait to be called when she’s ready - thinking she’s assisting her colleague w/ setting an appointment for a man in their office.

I noticed the man continually look through the glass window at me but don’t think anything of it. After about 10 min, listening to their conversation about their person lives, I approached the window. She gives me an annoying look and finally opens it. I asked if there were urgent care services available and she gives me attitude stating no. I asked where I can go (since I was from out of town), she named some place. When I asked her to repeat, she tells me again in a rude tone like I was dumb.

She didn’t have to make me wait to tell me no and she could have just told me from the beginning instead of just shutting the window so abruptly-hoping I would just go away. It saddens me that people still act racist to others and/or are rude. I simply was trying to ask a question to get some help and she treated me horrible.

Thankfully, the folks at the hospital ER were 1000% better and gave me hope that not all people in small town communities are racists.
