New Canaan Pharmacy is truly the best around! They kept the pharmacy open almost 15 minutes past closing when my husband got stuck in horrible traffic trying to pick up my child’s antibiotic. This kind of service is exceptional. They are always so kind, helpful, and friendly to me and my children and I will never go anywhere else!

Hands down best pharmacy I have ever used (and I have used many). Very prompt service, knowledgeable and almost always has meds in stock when other pharmacies do not. I almost don't want to write a review as I want to keep this pharmacy a secret! Also, the employees are very helpful.

Moved here from CVS as the service at CVS was atrocious. Never had an issue here. Everyone is polite and helpful and the store is extremely organized and clean. Love picking up my prescriptions here!

It's the quintessential small town pharmacy. Great service, they know you as soon as you walk in the door. If you want something they don't have, they'll gladly order it for you.

For a period of time I switched to a chain pharmacy, but it just doesn't compare to the knowledgeable staff and the warm welcome you'll receive here.

New Canaan Pharmacy on East Avenue in New Canaan formerly known as Varnums moved from Main Street to East Avenue about a year ago to move into a larger more contemporary space. After the move, they have more light from the skylights above as well as the light streaming through the large glass windows. The open space is much larger than Varnums former space on Main Street just a block away. New Canaan Pharmacy offers highly personalized service that larger pharmacies cannot offer. The pharmacists and pharmacy staff members are knowledgeable always helpful and available. They have top notch cosmetics as well as excellent hair products suited to every need. Ask them to order anything you want they're happy to assist you. Just leave a message to have them order your favorites 24 hours a day. Medications are expertly filled then delivered directly to your door with no signature required. You'll be pleased with the variety and quality of medical supplies and cosmetics as well as the gifts available at New Canaan Pharmacy. Lighted parking spaces in front and back are available for your convenience.

I pay a little more to be with this pharmacy, but the employees and pharmacists here actually want to help, are courteous, answer the phone quickly and deal with the question or issue promptly. Walgreens and CVS do not do any of that, nor do they have any interest in considering whether they should. And the parking here is good!
