I arrived at 8:20 AM for my 8:30 AM appointment , and was the only client waiting. I was then informed I had no insurance after 4 follow up phone inquiries from them. After verification and showing them my insurance card and proof they were in network I was taken back at 8:35 where I was left to wait until 9:20 AM. Eventually I was informed, we are running late and I don't know how long it will take to work in your exam. An apology or offer to reschedule the same day could have made this horrible experience better. Unfortunately I am now looking for a better place to get my next exam and wasted over an hour on the incompetent team at North Park Vision.

Went in for the first time today and definitely recommend this office! Staff were wonderful, beautiful, shining, glowing, and amazing! They took very good care of me as a new patient. i felt 100% comfortable and safe in their care for my eyes. Very professional and friendly. Overall, wonderful experience and i will be returning 🙂

The office is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and good at their jobs. I really liked the dr. He is very good and addressed all my concerns.
The only thing I had problems with was the same thing I have a problem with in all privet practices. The cost of frames and lenses were way out of my ability to pay for. My insurance only allows $300 so I could order frames or lenses, but not both.
They were however nice enough to give me a copy of my prescription so I could get my new glasses elsewere.

The doctor pressured me into buying a specific type of lens for my glasses. They even pushed their assistant out of the room during my exam just to start upselling. My eyesight has never deteriorated as quickly as with these lenses. I would not recommend this place.

North Park Vision is great! The staff is friendly, caring and professional. It was easy to make an appointment at a time that was convenient for me.
I have been a patient for over 5 years and they are always thorough and explain everything.

Very clean and organized unit . Staff was very friendly and curiosity . The doctor who did the eye exam was great and informative . Justin in the optical area was great to work with and friendly . I truly enjoyed my time at North Park Vision Center , PC , and would recommend than to other people .

I put in a request online for an appointment for my 4 year old and I and was never contacted. I ended up calling to schedule us after two weeks of no response. I wanted to return here because my husband and I had come here about 2 years ago and had a great experience. Aside from the online scheduling not working the staff was great and the reason I didn't leave only 2 stars.

I am taking 2 stars away for another reason. We were seen by Dr. Rose and although she is very knowledgeable about her optometry practice I can't say the same about her patient interaction skills. Even more so in assessing a toddler. My 4 year old has some sensory sensitivities but is otherwise very mature. He reads other's energy well. Dr. Rose didn't seem to pick up on his, or even my, verbal cues or body language that she was violating our space multiple times throughout the visit. She even chose to use force to hold my son to one of the machines because he didn't feel comfortable with the exam anymore considering all the times she had tickled or touched him unexpectedly prior to this.

Dr. Rose definitely uses a power differential and authority with children. When Dr. Rose finally seen I was upset after telling her we do not do well when our boundaries are not respected and that I do not use excessive force to make my child do things she at that point told me she would follow my lead and knows how to listen. I told her my child was done and we would come back to finish another day and of course with another provider. Dr. Rose followed us out of the exam room to the check out area and proceeded to follow us around still in our space being extra kind as if trying to make up for the negative experience in the exam room. My child can and does speak and communicate well especially for his age. He was never combative or rude during the exam. He only kept saying he didn't want to do anymore because of her overwhelming methods. I just want to paint the clear picture that he is a typical child who is more on the bashful side.

I am a growth and development pediatric nurse. I have a lot of experience working with children who have experienced trauma and am experienced with infant and young child mental health. I cannot recommend Dr. Rose for pediatric optometry. Her behavior felt as though she believes children should be seen and not heard. That children don't have a voice or should not use it. It felt very violating for me and I can only imagine my poor child who I am trying to model and remain calm in front of.

This place has the worst customer service. Effective communication is not one of their best qualities. I had a 2+ hour contact exam that included the doctors bathroom break with Dr. Rose and another young lady who she let me know what her daughter. Dr. Rose persistently tried to sell me glasses even though I told her I had just gotten glasses through another company. In addition, she tried to sell me testing not covered by my insurance. After I declined and I felt like she was frustrated when I stood firm on not being there for anything other than the contact exam. Once my actual exam was over, they requested $200+ for my visit. I paid it..

Days later I got a call that my contacts were in. I planned on picking them up a few days later and by that time I had gotten a call from Allie letting me know my contacts were not covered and that I needed to pay another chunk of money. I called and left an msg to refund my money, and no response. Another call was received from their office, and they told me that I needed to pick up my lenses, so I called again today and now we need to try and follow up on insurance? Why wasn’t that verified long before? I’m over the top frustrated. I feel taken advantage of! I will never come back here.

P.s. my insurance is active and eligible. There should be no issues. I should have only paid the copay!
