The best hospital in the world ?♥️?
Mi familia y yo les agradecemos todas sus atenciones

The OB department at this hospital was phenomenal. If I wasn't so sick with an infection, I would have really enjoyed my stay. My nurses were prompt, friendly, and calming. The Doctor on call had wonderful bedside manner. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the ward itself was very quiet. A gem of a hospital in our backyard.

I wish I could give this hospital a 10 star rating.

I can not say enough good things about this hospital. My grandma was brought here from Blairsville and rushed into surgery to remove blood clots in her leg. She is still under their care in the ICU and I know I can speak on behalf of my whole family, we are so so grateful for all the staff here. I feel as if the nurses Crystal, Myleen, and Georgia especially, have treated her as they would their own family. They have been so kind, attentive, knowledgeable, etc etc etc. truly angels on earth. Also, Doctor Hariri truly saved her life and I can not express my gratitude enough that it happened when it did and he was the surgeon on call. Truly the most knowledgeable and informative medical team I feel we have ever encountered. They even had a nurse or someone from the OR come out half way through and update us on how she was holding up. Thank you, thank you, thank you Northeast GA nurses and Doctors!!! Hopefully I won’t ever have to come back here but just know you are in the best of hands! We all know healthcare workers work SO hard but I have a new level of respect for these men and women.

? 2023 Recommended ?What a nice brand new hospital. The staff were excellent. No complaints and they are currently adding more floors and buildings to the location. I'd like to mention the excellent patient and family care Nurse Renea provided in the ICU as well as the other staff that provided assistance.

Dear Northeast GA Medical Center Braselton,

I am writing to document serious concerns regarding my mother's care at Northeast GA Medical Center Braselton from November 29th through December 14th, 2024, when she passed away.

I intend to share a more extended and formal document with the state medical board, The Joint Commission, and our state's department of health.

While the initial ER care was excellent, significant issues emerged in the ICU and regular wing:

Critical Concerns:

- Dr. Patel demonstrated unprofessional conduct:
- Announced "it smells like and looks like cancer" to a newly conscious patient, almost as if it was entertaining to him
- Made inappropriate personal comments about how I looked
- Displayed gender bias in professional interactions
- Showed dismissive and combative attitude toward family communication attempts
- Given covert abusive nature, is likely a professional at covering up his actions

Care Quality & Communication:
- Multiple doctors provided contradictory information
- Tests were redone without explanation
- Biopsies were delayed due to ordering oversights
- Systemic communication failures between departments
- Doctors outwardly criticized each other's care plans to patient's daughter (me), leaving me questioning whether I should trust them or not

Regular Wing Transfer & Monitoring:
- Abrupt transfer led to immediate decline
- Insufficient monitoring led to ICU readmission
- Staff regularly left patient unattended (behind a closed door) for extended periods with beeping vital and IV notifications while they played on their phones and gossiped

Tech Paula engaged in concerning conduct:
- Applied restraints causing patient distress - they were so tight, they left marks and my mother was sobbing when I got back to room
- Displayed aggressive behavior toward family
- Patient reported direct mistreatment

Beyond this:
- Constant inappropriate pressure for discharge
- Unnecessary procedures suggested during comfort care (bone density testing...?)
- Persistent issues with medical records access

Commendable Staff:
Several employees provided excellent care: Steve and Tiffany (techs in 2000's wing), Dr. Saurel (Oncology), and ICU staff Yaa, Jennifer, and Striker.

I request investigation into:

- Dr. Patel's conduct
- Paula's patient interactions
- Systemic monitoring failures
- Premature discharge pressure
- Inter-department communication breakdown

I am limited by a character limit in my review here. Much more to share. I do not want to call your Patient Care Team, as you are suggesting for damage control on so many other reviews to make it seem as if you care. Go ahead and send this one to someone who can actually address these concerns, or give me an email in which I can send ALL details to, as a start.

I won't let this go.

Sincerely,
Emily Whited-Dinu

I came ER because deep cuts in my finger I had to Waite 3 hours to get any urgent care. My finger was bleeding since 4 hours I told them after waiting 2 hours that my finger is still bleeding and I am feeling down they were keep changing the dressing but they all care about registration they call your name multiple time for unnecessary things instead of providing you the care you need specially if you are wounded and bleeding constantly no care they goes by numbers not good place to come ,if you really need immediate treatment.

The nurses and midwife were absolutely amazing! The staff was super accommodating for our needs/requests. I had to wait to leave my review and give it some thought. Initially I was at 4 stars because the father/support person is basically nonexistent to the staff. This is not their fault as they are focused on the mother as she is the patient. It’s very nice they have a good cafeteria for the dad/support person because we receive no food/drinks with our stay. (My expectations were set from our first child which we had at a hospital in FL where meals were also provided for the dad/support person) All of this being said they provided 5 star care to Mom and our new baby and they should not be dinged for my previous experience at a different hospital in another state. They treated Mom great and were so extremely helpful regarding her care. Just wanted to share our experience and hopefully set a good expectation for the dads/support persons reading this. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff was to Mom. Thanks again everyone!
