My appointment was at 10:30 on a Tuesday morning. I arrived a little early, and the waiting room was about 1/3rd full. Every employee I dealt with was friendly, and very helpful. I saw several people who performed a very thorough examination, then met with Dr. Barry who explained all of the test results and answered my questions. I was out the door by 11:30. I highly recommend Ophthalmology Associates for anyone.

Dr. Sam Barry is awesome. I have struggled with a terrible recurring corneal abrasion and he suggested PRK. He was so attentive before - during and after the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Sam Barry to anyone who wants an excellent outcome!!!

A few of my experiences with this time- and money-wasting practice: They over-billed or mistakenly billed me multiples times; they misdiagnosed me; they improperly medicated me, because they are only capable of cookie cutter treatment; they made my original problem much worse, because they don't listen; they damaged my eyes during an exam and only offered lukewarm assistance after my persistent calls; they wanted me to lie to another provider, to cover up their mistake; and their office is a disorganized mess. It took years - and repeated unanswered letters of complaint - to get them off my back. The reason I am now rating them is I just got a text from them, saying I am due for an exam! As if I would ever set foot in that office again.

Poor, poor customer service. Staff doesn't answer phone calls, won't return calls no matter the request or severity of the situation.
The doctors are good, but if you can't get answers to questions or information, what does that matter?
Showed up for a scheduled appointment but was told upon arrival that the appointment had been cancelled. No such notification was made and no effort to see the doctor that day was made! We use public transportation, so this was quite an ordeal. Gatekeepers should be responsive to their clients/patients/customers!!
There are many good opthalmologist in St Louis.
