In this chain dominated world, this family owned business is a gem!
And to go over to the optical shop is a completely lovely experience.....they are so helpful and patient even when I take selfies and then send then to my sisters about frame choices!
But really I listen to the technician...
*And as a RN......I am a little judgemental on healthcare and patient care and services.

Dealing with Hailey is by far the greatest experience I have ever had. She is a wonderful asset to Optical Eyeland. She helped me with my toddler's glasses and glasses for myself. She has ALOT of patience and is honest about how the glasses looked. She recommended different frames and ordered them and we finally found a pair I liked. The turn around time is extremely fast for your glasses and lenses, and the customer service is beyond extraordinary. I will be making the 45 minute drive to Optical Eyeland for now on.

This place is great if you don’t have insurance. Self pay’s cheaper than other places in Orlando. The staff was so friendly and took the time to help me understand what I wanted vs needed. They helped me by trying out different colors lenses for clip-ons. Clip-ons are otally worth the cost, because transitions do not work that well in the car, while driving. Will definitely come back!!

Just wanted to give a huge "Thank You" to Haley of your wonderful staff members. Haley is awesome, proficient, efficient, friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic and Optical Eyeland, I feel, is extremely lucky to have her on their team.

As a previous customer, I had inadvertently popped out one of my lenses on my backup pair of glasses so I managed to get it back in enough to drive there to have them repaired. Not only did Haley repair them, clean them and put new pads on them, but I also showed her my primary pair that had just broken (disintegrated) on the metal frame, no couldn't be repaired and they were very old, but I loved that "smaller lens" style and showed them to her to ask if they had something similar.

While Haley was working on the current backup pair of glasses, she took the time to check their discontinued inventory and found almost an exact match for my old glasses that I loved to wear and loved that style and it was the very last one in stock!

So, Haley took the time to listen and care, and was nice enough to check the old inventory and help me get the type of frame that I actually wanted, plus repair the backup pair of glasses. I explained to her that I was going through some challenging financial times in that my husband was in the hospital and was recovering from pneumonia, but that he had almost died and I was trying to pay our bills without his income for awhile, so finding those discontinued frames saved me a lot of money and I was able to not only repair the backup glasses, but also purchase the frames that I wanted for new primary glasses which was extremely wonderful and a great and helpful surprise, especially in the wake of what I have been having to deal with lately in our lives and at home.

Kudos to Haley and please keep up the great work! You are an exceptional employee and person! Thank you so very much!

I am so happy I came here to have my eyes examined and be fitted with glasses. The doctor suggested progressives and that's what I went with. I really appreciated the way the technician helped me choose frames that worked for my face. I would have been lost!! Everyone is wonderful. Today, I picked up my my new glasses. Hailey helped me figure out how to use my progressive lenses. She was awesome, explained it all perfectly, and I already feel comfortable with them. Thank

I received the best customer service from Julie and Brian of Optical Eyeland and their staff.
I asked for a silhouette frame that they didn’t have in stock, they brought it in and worked with me to determine the best size and shape for the lenses.
I needed their help as my previous glasses were very heavy and constantly sliding down.
My new glasses are light as air and came in quickly
Julie and Brian are pure excellent customer service which as you know is no longer common anymore.

Best optical shop in the area. Highly skilled and very attentive to customer's needs! I have moved from Florida to Louisiana and the staff at Optical Eyeland in Apopka still make excellent glasses for me and provide superior service! They are the best shop I have ever been to!
