It is always a pleasure when it is time for my yearly eye exam. The prices and selections are great and of course the staff and doctors ALWAYS BRING A SMILE TO MY FACE. I have been going there for over 15 years now. So I guess that tells you something!!

The doctor is really nice but the front desk is by far the worst service I ever encountered. They took my documents and told me my insurance didn’t cover anything, promptly asking me multiple times if I wanted to proceed by paying out of pocket. I said no, (I had just taken my kids there and everything was covered). Then I asked them to review it with my insurance and call me to reschedule the appointment because it was over one hour wait and I couldn’t stay any longer. They never called me but they claim the service with my insurance company so I had to cancel that with my insurance to be seeing somewhere else. Very disappointing and frustrating service, I was treated in a hostile manner. Is it because I pay insurance they treat me like they are making me a favor by seeing me? Don’t waste your time there, is not worthy the discounts.

Today was my first visit to Optical Outlets. Admittedly, I was unsure if I would like the service here due mainly to its location. This Winn Dixie shopping plaza is a bit run down.

I was pleasantly surprised by the good treatment, ease of getting an appointment and the selection of affordable frames and lenses. I arrived a few minutes early and the doctor was able to see me early. He was efficient and thorough - it may have been one of the faster exams I've had, yet I felt like it was a very thorough exam. I was very pleased.

With the assistance of the amazingly helpful woman in the showroom, I was able to select two pairs of glasses in a reasonably fast process. And the best part was the cost was eminently affordable.

I recommend going to the company's webpage where you can easily obtain an appointment --and-- complete all of the pre-appointment paperwork.

Bottom Line: Great service and prices.

7 years ago I had a bad experience here, I decided to give them another chance. Today, I Had a 3:15 appointment, all went well until after my exam and dilation. I picked glasses and paid. I was told to take a seat and wait to see the doctor again. At 5:25 I asked if they forgot about me. They did in fact forget me and the doctor had left the building and gone home. They called the doctor and he apologized and offered to return to the office. By This time I had no confidence in this business and declined. I do not recommend this business, go somewhere else!!!

The Doctor that did my eye exam was absolutely the best at listening to what I was meaning though I didnt explain it correctly he was able to give me the best prescription and I cant forget about the staff that welcomed me and helped me choose my glasses. They are so professional and went out of their way to help me pick the right frames. Excellent group of professionals all the way around. Thank you again!!

I just needed glasses no exam. When I walked in it was busy so I thought I would have to wait. I signed in and the receptionist asked what I was there for , and immediately had a girl help me.
The girl's name is Angela. She sat with me and discussed my issues, and then proceeded to walk with me and help me find a pair of glasses. I've been wearing glasses for 52 yrs and I can't remember the last time anyone helped me pick out glasses. It was an enjoyable experience. Hopefully my glasses work out. I'll update when I get them.
