Dr Larson and Dr Bowman are super awesome. I had an appointment shortly after my dad passed and spent 10 minutes just bawling in the room with Dr Larson. She was so kind and compassionate. I was able to get through the exam! This place is great! The staff at both places are so helpful! They are super helpful when I have to occasionally bring my children into my appointments with me. I am so glad I found my “home” for all my vision needs!

My husband and I have been going to Orange Park Eye Center for 15 years. I was lucky enough to get Dr. Hoffman to be my doctor. Over the 15 years he has been WONDERFUL. I have had 4 medical issues arise during that time. He has always gotten me in quickly and educated me on what the issues were. Each time my issue was resolved quickly because of the quality care he provided.
In regard to the regular eye exams I am very happy that they offer the mapping of the eye so that I can see what is going on with the health of my eyes. Each new prescription that I get improves my vision.
The service provided by the eye wear staff is also wonderful. We are told upfront on what each of the "upgrades" provide in regard to better vision and have no issue if we choose to decline them.
When ever my husband has needed a repair on his eye glasses (even ones provided by the VA) they have been very willing to do the repair quickly.
Orange Park Eye Center is patient focused and state of the art in the services they provide.

Visionworks offers 100 day refund or exchange quality guarantee. Their website states no such guarantee.

I need to return my $400 glasses to have the lenses remade a 3rd time.
Unfortunately I learned the hard way they give a verbal 'make it right' policy. Not sure how long it will take. The lab manager Tammy has never bothers to look at the glasses on me, mark pupil location and progressive line levels. I wish I had never gone there.

If you expect basic customer service such as fitting the glasses frames go somewhere else.

I've been a loyal customer for years now. Dr. Jacob and Dr. Virginia 'Ginnie' Hodges are the 2 main reasons I continue to return. They are thorough and make the appointment pleasant. Our family of 4 have been well taken care of. We appreciate how careful they are and how effectively treat our vision care. We see better and leave feeling better about our eyes. I really enjoyed Doctor Virginia . She was really sweet and awesome and I had a better experience here than my last eye doctor. The beautiful black queen who helped me pick out glasses was great too and a joy to talk to. The only thing is … their lab is very very slow . It’s been 3 weeks and still no glasses. At Vision express I received my glasses within a week. Just hate having to wait so long when I really need my glasses .

Dr. Hoffman is THE BEST OPTOMETRIST!!! HE IS AMAZING!!! He is respectful, down to earth, funny, caring and very knowledgeable!! I've been seeing him for 15yrs and my husband has been going to him for 32yrs.
