Nice quiet lake. Owners are excellent to work with. Full kitchen and large living space with cathedral ceilings. Beautiful porches both open and screened in. A great fire pit. Only wish there was a king size bed, but overall it's a beautiful home and great vacation for those looking to relax!

We rented the smaller of the two cottages that Victoria has to rent. It was perfect for the two of us. Full kitchen with all you need (beside the food of course) if you plan to cook your meals. It was very quiet in the mornings having coffee on the deck watching the fog roll over the lake. The view is wonderful and the fishing right off of the dock is great.

No AC as other visitors have mentioned, but you don't need it. With the windows open and ceiling fans on, it was plenty cool at night. Would stay here again.

What a view. If you are looking for a quiet and breathtaking cottage, this is it. Its clean, open, lots of sky lights. I saw the moon one late night thru the skylight and it was just beautiful. There is no AC BUT don't panic, it is absolutely not needed. The high ceilings have fans that circulate the cool air throughout the cottage. Even when the temperature outside was hot, the cottage stayed cool. In the evenings the temperature dropped so it was very cool and perfect for sleeping. I fished most of the time catching and releasing catfish, pike, and sunnies. We had our own personal beach spot, fire pit, and a beautiful custome made grill. The porch is very large and inviting. A perfect spot where I enjoyed my morning coffee while basking in the view of the lake. My husband and I will DEFINITELY be returning and staying for a longer period of time.

I came here with my friend for the weekend and we had the best time!
Victoria is very friendly! She offered us a ride on her and her husbands boat when I got there which I declined only because I was excited to get out on the water to use my paddleboard!
She also answered my text messages almost immediately throughout my stay when I had any questions.
The cottage itself is clean and neat. The whole back side of the house (the lakefront side) has huge windows so you constantly have the most beautiful view! I found the bed to be very comfortable and I got great sleep all three nights.
Since it’s been chilly at night, my friend and I made sure we utilized the fire pit that sits right near the lake in the backyard! We used the crates of firewood they offered for $5 per crate, which I though was very convenient.
Honestly the only downside to the entire experience was having to leave! I will be back for sure.

Victoria was fantastic. We had a beautiful stay with a beautiful view. The house was small, but had everything we needed and a picture perfect view of the lake, a deck, and a small beach where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The house was neat and clean and the main room was large enough for me to get in a good workout in the mornings while enjoying the fabulous view. Cant wait to go back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was the perfect getaway for us. The cottage was so cute and the private beach was very nice. The lake was relaxing.

The only thing that I would suggest for improvement is the bedroom was very hot and it made it uncomfortable to sleep in. A window AC unit would have fixed the problem. There was also a large party staying at the house next door which brought some excess noise. Not really anything that could be controlled, they were just in close enough proximity that it was noticable.

Other than those 2 minor things we absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back again some time.

My wife and I love this place. Quite place and nice lake. Only 15 minutes to a casino, two hours to Boston and two hours to NYC. We're going back next month. Such a relaxing time. If you're wanting a peaceful, relaxing vacation then you won't go wrong looking booking one of these two homes.

I was very interested in inquiring about a vacation rental for my son and myself. However, the owner indicated we would not be able to preview as its private property. When I explained that my son is a big fisherman but also special needs and it would be great if I could preview the lake beforehand she stated it probably wouldn't be a good fit for us. I've never heard of such a thing! All we wanted to do was check out the lake and see if my son thought it would be a good fishing.
She made it sound like we'd be traipsing all over private property and would be very unwelcome.
We will go back to New Hampshire or upstate New York where we typically go where there are friendly people that accommodate their guests.
