They have the most workers I've ever seen in a Publix! Youd think that was a good thing. but I've been going there since I moved last year and there is ALWAYS a line NO matter the time.of day or day of the week and even when you process your refills on line they take 2-4 days to fill. I'm not sure what the issue is but they always tell me they have called my MDs with requests or issues and my doctors office NEVER get calls from them! And the most frustrating exchange is to stand in line FOREVER and then step.up to laterally no one greeting you .....just clicking away on their computers......toral.silence! Today it was like7 minutes....... 5 people working behind the counter. NO ONE GREETS YOU OR ASKS for a mimute or gives any explaination for the inability to address you. Frustrating!

The is the worst pharmacy in the entire chain. I swapped back thinking after a year it would had gotten better. Nope, wrong. Had a Q about my script, they put me on hold for 20 mins, hung up and called back and got the message they were closed for lunch…LUNCH! You really could take the two minutes to check on something for me?!

Oh my goodness! I cannot believe that Publix Pharmacy and Dawsonville only has a 2.9 on the Google review scale. They are so fabulous. I was recently diagnosed with heart failure, and I have a ton of medicines that I have to take. And I just want everyone to know that they are so helpful and they have been so helpful with me throughout this whole process of Health insurance and pre-authorization and you know CIGNA approval and because I’m taking some pretty expensive medicines and they were able to help me get one of my medicines for $40. And it otherwise would’ve been $700. And Miss Kaitlyn there is so fabulous and she is such an angel and if you ever think about using the pharmacy at Publix in Dawsonville, just please make sure you ask for her because she’s amazing and I just wanted to let everyone know that.

I see some bad reviews so I will be coming back next month and updating my review. I'm a top 2% master google reviewer so take that for what you will. My experience was this: I had two controlled medications. My normal publix pharmacy in Gainesville has been a nightmare lately so I came to this one. A lot of pharmacies will straight up stereotype you and deny you crucial medications based on their own judgments or stereotypes. Not my experience here. I came to the counter and asked a lovely young woman to speak with her pharmacy manager. She said absolutely and directed me to the consultation window. She got the pharmacy manager( Wendy) and she was there directly. I told her I was having trouble getting my medications and that some places were "backordered". She looked at my scripts and said "no problem I have them and can have them for you within 45 minutes". How simple and normal She made getting my medications that I rely on daily. She was sweet, friendly, and really made me feel like I was important and not judged for having to take a controlled medication. I really hope it wasn't a one time stroke of luck. I pray getting my medications monthly will go like this. The cashier even ran my meds through good rx upon my request and saved me $100. Thank you Dawsonville Publix Pharmacy Team. I don't care what the other reviews say, you're alright in my book. Wendy is the G.O.A.T.

I want to change pharmacies, but this one is convenient for me because I shop there! I’m giving the pharmacy a 1 star because, 90% of their customer service is horrible, I get lucky when I have a happy, helpful person answering the phone, or prescription filled. The pharmacist said her name was Nazzie, I think that’s what she said the sp of her name was, apologized for her employee’s Unprofessionalism, but there was no meaning or feeling behind it. I barely give reviews, but had to finally because something there needs to change.

Do NOT use this pharmacy. My wife was prescribed a necessary medication and they didn’t call her to tell her that the insurance wouldn’t cover it. She went to pick up her meds and they told her 1) it wasn’t ready and she would have to wait. 2) it was $900 with copay (they should have notified her of this well before she got there). She found an online coupon to save her a lot of money and get the meds she needed. When she presented the coupon, she was told people on Medicare and Medicaid were not eligible to use the coupon (she isn’t on either). When she told them she wasn’t in either, they said “that’s how you are in the system so we have to go by that.” Publix will NEVER get another cent of our money. Be careful, this place is a JOKE.
