Leaving this review a year late. I got a pair of Steve Madden prescription frames. Had the lens added with mild extras. I could never wear the glasses but maybe 30 minutes before getting a bad headache. Year later I see a new provider in Jax and I told them I really loved the frames, spent money and haven’t been able to wear. They compared my oldest glasses, the Steve Madden and my new prescription they’d recommended. The glasses were wayyy too powerful for my vision which is what caused the headaches. The staff was nice at Quinns. I just didn’t realize my script was incorrect so I’d been suffering. Just make sure to take yours back if you notice it doesn’t feel right. Be better than me and don’t waste money. I suppose I trusted the providers to get it right.

Love my experience here. The technicians and staff are fantastic and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet but welcoming and warm. I’ve been seeing Dr Quinn these past several years and love his extensive knowledge base and his commitment to excellent care.

Dr. Quinn and medical staff are great. Desk staff really were not helpful and screwed up my appointment. Make sure the doctor you are scheduled to see is working the day of your appointment.

Going to Quinn since 2020 and always had a great experience. Today, I called to complain about an unnecessary follow up appointment. Spoke to assistant manager since the office manager wasn’t available. Instead of offering an apology up front the guy said he will “let me know”. As a matter of routine, when a loyal customer complains politely, I believe it’s in the offices best interest to apologize before investigating what went wrong. Even if the customer is mistaken. Thank you. You have my contact information. I’m an active patient of yours. As an update - it has been 10 days from my complaint and NOBODY has reached out. They do not value your business.

It has been several months. Nobody reached out to me. If this is how they treat colleagues- not sure how they’ll treat others. I will not be returning.

Edited to add - they finally called me after several months. The manager apologized and sent my contact lenses home via mail.

Amazing service every time I’ve gone here! Big women’s frame section, appointments are always quick, and everyone is friendly and helpful. I tell all my friends to go to Quinn’s.

Nice practice. Had a good exam and they except my insurance. However.!
Was told my glasses were good to be mailed to my P.O. Box. Paid for everything. 10 days later told, they will not mail to P.O. Box unless I pay additional shipping to ship with another carrier.
The PDF they sent me with my prescription was alerted on by my phone security that it was full of malware and fishing ware. I requested an Quinn Eye Care letter head paper of my prescription... I have made three requests. Was told that it was mailed... Have not received my prescription.
They need to do better.

Quinn Eye center was once the premier facility to get your glasses in Gainesville. Even when I went to another eye doctor for a few years, I would come to Quinn to get my eyewear. There is, however, a recent decline in quality and experience. My glasses in 2022 could not be worn. Something as simple as clapping in church made my glasses fall off. Gave them another chance in 2023. Received my glasses in December (prescription sunglasses that are rarely worn,) they snapped in half this past weekend. Less than a full year since getting them. I told them when I gave them a second chance that if they couldn't get it right this year, I wouldn't be back. I am a woman of my word! And I'm writing to caution you all against going back as well. It's interesting how they heavily push the warranty now. I wonder if it's because they know how poor of quality the new lab they use produces.

Proceed with caution. Not the same Quinn Eye Center we once knew and loved. Deeply Disappointed.

I’ve been going here since 2014. Always a great experience. Simple scheduling, convenient hours, & great staff. I appreciate the fact they don’t bombard you trying to sell a certain frame to you!
