I absolutely LOVE Ravenswood. Sara is fantastic and very knowledgeable. She has helped me multiple times. Once, when I had a bout of the shingles (of all things!). My immune system was so run down that what I thought was an initial spider bite, was in fact diagnosed (by a doctor) as shingles. With the antiviral meds not kicking in, I went and saw Sara. She gave me a wonderful lemon balm ointment and other supplements that absolutely turned the tide of my shingles debacle.

She has always helped me find the best herbs and blends. I went to her when I had to handle another COVID situation - courtesy of extended family. She helped me find the best supplements to support my system, to help my daughter who was 6 at the time, and keep my son's immune system healthy.

I recently went there because my allergies were running me down. She directed me to an allergy supplement that helped immensely!! It even helped my son when he had a slight wheeze going on randomly one night.

She has been a wonderful asset to my and my family's health!

In reading some of these reviews, Sara may be blunt, and she is absolutely wonderful and refreshing for it! (I love her stories, too!) She will not sugar coat or tell you what you want to hear. She is grounded in her knowledge and input and will not direct you to flighty fantasies or fairies and weird gibberish that some people come to think of in the alternative fields. I respect her knowledge and work as an herbalist and highly recommend anyone to go to her shop.

If I could give her and her shop more than 5 stars, I would!!

The woman working, who I assume was the owner based on these reviews, was incredibly rude when I walked in. I was looking at their supplements and she WALKED OVER to me with another man and started yelling about how I was too close, and the moment I walked in she was already passive aggressive. If I ever talked to customers at my job the way that woman was talking to me and the other man in there, I would be fired. Will not be returning

The elderly lady at who either owns or works there yelled at my small kids. They dared to looked at some kind of potato sack looking thing. Do not support these people. Rude.

They are located quite a distance from me but after meeting with the owner at another event I knew I had to make the trip and I was so incredibly impressed with what she is doing! She is so educated! I am a diabetic and I am very happy with the different items I purchased! Besides having a beautiful store the prices were very reasonable!!!! If I could I would give her 10 stars!!!!!

I unfortunately didn't even have the chance to walk into the store to see what items were available as one of the employees ran out of the store and RUDELY confronted me and my MINI BUS FULL OF SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS before we even fully disembarked the bus hollering that we were in the wrong parking lot for Emmons and that I should 'read the sign' and how big of an inconvenience our very presence was IN THE EMPTY PARKING LOT. Incredible that the owner asks in MANY of her responses to other negative reviews that buyers 'come back and try them out again' because honestly, that first impression made me want to do NOTHING LESS THAN COME BACK! If there is an issue with the location pin that is dropped on Google as there seems to be (GPS took us TO YOUR DOOR when we searched for Emmons), TAKE IT UP WITH GOOGLE, NOT YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS!

Sad to see that the owner seems to stand by the poor behavior of her lack luster employees. As she stated best in one of her other review responses, I hope they both have 'sparkling days' and strongly reconsider the need for and lack of interpersonal skills.

I had been intending to visit Ravenswood for some time now. I finally stopped in today. I do wish it hadn’t taken me so long! The shop looks small from the outside, but there are several rooms inside…filled with wonderful items. But, the best thing was the great customer service from both of the women on duty. Sarah, a certified herbalist, took a lot of time with me, answering questions with patience and knowledge. I so appreciated her attention…it was like getting a free herbal consultation! Count me as your newest happy customer!

I walked into this store looking for something that could resolve an ailment I was having for a very long time. I thought I had researched everything to resolve my issue but still remained in pain and generally unwell. I cannot express enough gratitude for what the owner did for me.. She was able to explain exactly how the supplement worked for the issue I was having. Within hours a problem I had for over a year was resolved with no side effects. In fact, what she recommended improved my overall health as well. I give this store 5 stars and if I could give them more I would.

Thanks to the owner's serious study and background, caring and experience, for the first time in years I'm having normal level results in some of my blood tests without the usual bad side effects: for example my iron levels without the usual severe constipation. The research that goes into the advice given to answer every question is so extensive and considered that I have total confidence and comfort in knowing that it's MY needs that are being considered rather than the usual "pushing what the last rep said should be sold". Plus the fact that the store itself is just such fun to browse in. Gift yourself with a visit.
