I had appointments on both sides of the building. Lori the P.A. is continuing her education constantly, you can tell. P T dept was so professional. Yishai, Nate and Amanda made most of my pain lessen. Front desk staff all are kind and smile like it's good to see you. Dr Aristimuno is very nice and doesn't rush you. All around good medical experience. Thanks

You’ve been warned don’t ever go to this doctor. I went four months ago. Had blood work done called them back. They said that I need to come back in for a full panel bloodwork I said I’m calling to get my blood work. Read back to me. I just had it done. They said you’re due for more bloodwork. I called 45 minutes ago asked if I could come in. They said yes I just walked in. They turned me away and sent me on my way. I’ll never go back to this doctor again so I pretty much went four months ago gave them money to do my bloodwork and they never called me doctor my blood work. They took my money and they would not see me today 10:25 AM.

I recently had my first appointment at Sarasota Medical Center primary care office, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, who made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a calming atmosphere that set a positive tone for my visit.

Despite being a new patient, I was pleasantly surprised by the short wait time before being called back to see Dr. Joaquin J. Aristimuno. The nurse who took my vitals was friendly and professional, taking the time to explain each step of the process and ensuring I felt comfortable.

Dr. Joaquin J. Aristimuno himself was truly outstanding. He took the time to introduce himself and asked thoughtful questions to get to know me and understand my medical history. I felt genuinely heard and valued as a patient. His approach was thorough yet not rushed, and he explained everything in clear, understandable terms. He even addressed a few concerns I hadn’t initially thought to mention, offering helpful advice and actionable steps for maintaining my health.

What impressed me most was Dr. Aristimuno’s genuine interest in preventative care. He provided practical tips for healthy living and offered resources for further reading. It was clear that he is passionate about promoting long-term wellness, not just treating immediate symptomsIn addition, he took the time to establish how we will communicate moving forward. Every doctor should establish the practice.

Upon leaving, the checkout process was equally seamless, with the staff assisting in scheduling my follow-up appointment and ensuring all my questions were answered regarding insurance and billing.

Overall, my first visit to Sarasota Medical Center exceeded all my expectations. The professionalism, kindness, and expertise of the entire team made what could have been a routine doctor's visit a remarkably positive experience. I feel confident in the care I will receive there and am relieved to have found such a trustworthy primary care provider. Highly recommended!

If you are involved in a serious auto accident, this is the place to go because of the quality and experience of the people here. The physician's and physician assistant's significant previous experience in the ER makes them uniquely qualified to treat you versus your general primary physician. In addition, their knowledge and access to quality specialists makes them invaluable. Combined with their office staff, they truly do care for and advocate for you to speed your recovery. We were so lucky to be directed to them by my primary physician at Intercoastal Medicine.

This is Ron and a patient of SMC. The staff at the front desk are nice & extremely helpful, especially Laura. The Docs under my PCP are amazing, attentive, & will assist in any matter/worries you're concerned with. They are straight forward & recommend certain procedures only when necessary, along with making sure you understand how to take certain medications. I recently had to undergo Chiropractic (Gaeta) and PT (Nate & Amanda) at the same location, which is tremendous being under the same roof. They make your stay pleasant & they are very efficient. To make time pass, they take the time to treat whatever you need thoroughly, along with carrying on with various conversations that help with lessening anxiety levels. The Sarasota Medical Center has been my primary care center for over ten years. Dr Aristimuno is a caring and compassionate person who brings up to date and thorough medical insight to his patients. He meticulously goes through my annual checkups and lab results searching for any new glitches in relation to my medical history. His recommendations for additional testing and arranging appointments with specialists have been a godsend to me. I am 72 years old and Dr. Aristimuno is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. It’s not surprising that so many of his friendly and talented staff have continued working with him for these many years.

Dr. Davis is extremely knowledgeable in the chiropractic department along with Amanda and Nate in the physical therapy department. This staff is extremely helpful and hands on. Laura at the front is also such a sweet heart and helps make my visits feel comfortable. I am always kept in the loop of my progress which is nice for someone who hasn’t had PT or chiropractic work done before.
