My partner and I have been patients of Dr. Caroline Freeman for several years, thanks to a recommendation from a friend who is also an optometrist. Throughout this time, we have consistently been impressed by the professionalism and exceptional level of care provided by Dr. Freeman and her dedicated team.

The staff goes above and beyond to ensure our comfort and take the time to address our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Their attention to detail and patient-centered approach truly set them apart.

5 Stars! Had my first appointment with Dr. Caroline Freeman at Savannah Family Eye Care today and was extremely impressed! Dr. Freeman and her optician Heather are laid back, friendly, professional, and know their stuff. Dr. Freeman answered all of my questions and explained everything I was seeing on her computer screen. Even better, there was NO PRESSURE to buy new glasses, which the other boutique optometrist pushes hard. So...I'm getting trendy new glasses at a fraction of the price that others offer! I highly recommend -- btw Caroline also is a UGA grad and Dawg fan!

I can’t say enough good things about Savannah Family Eye Care! While on a business trip, I tore a contact and realized I didn’t have any extras. In a bit of a panic, I called their office, and they came to my rescue immediately. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and they provided me with a free sample contact on the spot. this is the best eye doctor in Savannah. Today in the snow I broke my arm off my glasses and they looked up my frames and put the ones they had in stock aside for me so I can buy them and see again. Its so nice in the year of our lord 2025 to make a phone call and get to the real person who can solve your actual problem.

Took my son (8yo) and this was the best experience he has had so far (3rd year needing glasses). They were very thorough and friendly, and they worked with him to make sure he was comfortable the entire time. And it was great that we could order new lenses for his glasses while we were there. On-site parking, great location, booked the appointment online and did all paperwork online ahead of time. Highly recommend.

Absolute worst service. Especially in the middle of a disaster. Rude. Inconsiderate. Uncaring. Go anywhere else!!! Hours of operation are also incorrect. They show up whenever they want so don’t expect a timely visit.

Let me add, so I don’t “mislead others” that I called first thing this morning and they stated they would be in the office until 5. We came AFTER their lunch period posted online and they were still gone.

When I called CRYING on my way back home with crying babies, because we lost part of our home, have no food, water, power and I am struggling…..all she could say was “me too”. Over and over. So professional. So caring. Right She lives in Savannah, surrounded by help. We live miles from the nearest CLOSED EVERYTHING. So my statement stands. They don’t care. They aren’t kind. They were incredibly unprofessional while we as patients were struggling. If you can’t be professional, even to patients having a hard time, do NOT own a business. I called FEMA in a panic last night and they were literally nothing but kind even when I was struggling. It changed my entire attitude and evening. This did the opposite. If you are a family in need, DO NOT EVER, EVER GO THERE.

That’s not misleading. It’s just the truth. AND to respond like this is incredibly unprofessional. We have it recorded if we need to post it to social media so others can make up their own minds since GA is a one party state.

If you need somewhere to go, Eye Girls in Jesup. Absolutely amazing. Super kind. So understanding. Immediately helpful. Calmed me down while I cried. Super super professional. But not Savannah Family Eye Care. Anywhere but there. I’m not the only one. Look at the other one star reviews.

Dr. Freeman saw me with no appointment on a Friday at 4pm when I had scratched my cornea and was on so much pain that I thought i might have to go to the ER.. Between the numbing drops and the prescription she gave me my eye was healed by morning 😄

Great atmosphere and friendly office staff. The doctor answered my questions throughly and didn’t pressure me to buy frames. I was running behind for my appointment and they were flexible about fitting me in, which was very nice and helped me out a lot. Highly recommend! I plan to be back for my next visit for contacts when I find the right time to work that out. Parking was easy and the office was easily located with my maps app.
