The pharmacy clerk spoke to me in a testy and accusing manner on Saturday 11/9 (when I called to make sure my Rx was ready). Earlier that week, I had called to make sure that my medication would be prepared the way it needs to be. A mistake was made with it previously; and I have a long drive to the pharmacy out of state. It is frozen Desmopressin for my dog.

She said "by the way, if YOU want it prepared that way, you're gonna have to pay more." And it was not a matter of how I wanted it prepared.

I was told by the pharmacy a long time ago that, due to regulations, the compound must be frozen and prepared in multiple small bottles - which I need to thaw out in the refrigerator every 4 days for use / injection. Otherwise, it will not be effective.

When I picked it up a couple months ago, it was given to me in one big bottle (that I could only thaw out all at once). I spoke to the pharmacist about it being prepared the wrong way. She agreed to put together a new Rx. In the meantime, I used the larger bottle for a week. I discarded the rest because it was no longer effective.

When I picked up the corrected Rx, mistakenly - only a week of medication cost was deducted. But I was charged for the remaining 3 weeks. In essence, I was charged twice. I did not ask for a refund at the time due to a personal emergency that took up a lot of my time.

When I called in this month's Rx and went to pick it up - I was told by the clerk in a testy tone "by the way, if you want it prepared this way, you're gonna have to pay more. We've been under- charging you." "You're gonna have to pay $50 more next time."

I firmly said that it isn't what ... "I want." ... It is the way the pharmacy itself told me the medication should be prepared. I spoke to the pharmacist once I arrived and said that l understood that if it is costing them extra labor to prepare it this way, I understand. It's just very confusing that I was never charged more before, for such a long time however.

In addition, the Rx was mailed to the wrong address in the Spring of this year. It was not viable by the time I got it. The pharmacy did replace it at no cost, to their credit. But, since then, I have been driving from Maryland to Delaware with a cooler to obtain the medication myself, just to be sure I don't get another thawed out shipment.

I am simply exhausted by all this. It's hard enough to provide care for a sick dog, let alone get spoken to that way by pharmacy staff (like it's my fault).

Today was a disappointing experience. I drove 30 minutes to pick up a prescription after speaking with them the day before. It wasn’t ready, so I started to drive home. I called them and asked if it could be overnighted on Monday with the fee covered by them for the inconvenience. They said that I never paid and they called me after I asked about a formula change. They didn’t call me or leave a message, I even checked my call log to be sure. When I asked if they spoke with anyone or left a message they said no. It was less about the money and more about the poor customer service. I had my prescription moved to a different pharmacy. (This is absolutely not for whoever was at the front desk when I walked in, she was polite and apologetic for the misunderstanding)

I use saveway for two years now. No problem with the quality of medicine. The staff and price is ok. What gets me is the phone system. I got a call from saveway automated system. It left a message: press 3 to hang up. Two days later the bot called. Gave me 3 options. I chose to speak to a person. It informed me that no person is available ?. I left a message to send my meds as usual and my usual cc.
Two days later it (bod)gave me a stern warning that this is the last try. So I chose to speak to a person. She put me on hold for 2 minutes. Finally she asked me who I am and what I am calling for. My point is, the waste of MY time. To make it convenient for you, you jerk me around. Please rethink your auto-attendant phone system.

I have been calling every month since July of 2023 bc every month they screw up my dog's medication. EVERY MONTH FOR A YEAR!! I get told the same thing every time, "I'm sorry, I'll talk to the manager..." And the following month...BOOM!! The same problem. Over and over again. Do not use this place. They just lie and continue to mess everything up. They are horrible and have poor customer service. They just tell you whatever just to get you off the phone bc obviously they fix nothing bc I have to call them every month to fix their screw ups.

As soon as the first review was posted, Nicole contacted me. She listened to my concerns, followed through with fixing the issue and even found a way to get my meds to me THAT SAME DAY...delivered. She never once asked me to change my review and said that her priority was my experience. I am so very happy with how this situation was managed and impressed by her professionalism. Thank you, Nicole!

Very frustrated with this pharmacy. Every time you call you never get anyone to answer the phone. Have had a couple prescriptions sent here and each time I have to call and ask where they are because I paid for the shipping and don’t receive them. They don’t return telephone messages. And I’m stuck going here because they are the only ones who make my specific prescription.
