We had the most magical experience at Seal Cove Inn. We stayed for 5 nights for our wedding/elopement and can’t wait to come back for our anniversary. We were able to take our “first look” photos there are they came out wonderful. The room was very classy and comfortable and the breakfast service each morning was phenomenal. I also loved the handmade soaps, lotions and jam so we bought some to take back home! It’s also walking distance from the oceanfront and a wonderful restaurant nearby called Moss Beach Distillery. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Does not offer a 24h service, that's the only reason to dock a star, the staff were amazing. A fantastic quiet retreat close to the sea, with beautiful local walks and a beach. A great place to unwind. You need a car to access most nearby eating options, but Half Moon Bay is very close by car.

I love this place it exceeded all of our expectations. Tiny suggestion is to have corkscrews in every room and a charging station . The pillows, bedding were sooo soft I want to buy same for my home. Huge bathroom, the grounds are incredible and easy access to viewing seals lounging on beach. This was the perfect getaway to wind down from our busy days. The ladies running the inn are all friendly and gave a wonderful breakfast, wine in the evening and cookies.

Seal Cove Inn was a magical find. It is stunningly beautiful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. We rented the owners suite and could not be happier with our choice. Laurie and Stacey provided amazing hospitality. We went down to the nature reserve which is a gorgeous beach 500 yards away. We will definitely be back!

The Seal Cove Inn is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inn in the Half Moon Bay, California area. It sits in the Fitzgerald pine forest Reserve and backs onto the pacific Ocean. It is a serene and restful area. The room was very well kept with a fireplace, comfortable bed and as chairs. It had a slider door that allowed you to access the back of the house with chairs to have a tranquil morning reading or enjoying the birds and flowers. Breakfast was arranged before hand and served at you request in the room or in the dining room. An afternoon glass of wine was enjoyed in the living room or outside in the beautiful garden area. Don’t miss the Moss Beach Distillery for a nice dinner inside or outside on the back patio area with an ocean view. We have been here many times in the past. While things have changed slightly, we will return again when in the area.

My gf n I love coming here. We come twice a year. I prefer the rooms upstairs with the jetted tubs. The front desk ladies (Sharon n Lori)are always so sweet! The cookies are amazing, we snatch as many as possible. Free beer n wine during happy hour. Short walk to the beach. We truly love it here.

An absolute gem! One of the nicest inn’s we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly want in a comfortable night’s stay. The surrounding area is also beautiful and the views are absolutely breathtaking! I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Half Moon Bay Area.

Wonderful service-- the people who worked there were all so lovely and nice, and it was the same people everyday. The location is amazing, especially if you're looking for a quiet place near beautiful outdoors (cypress tree forest and beautiful cliffs) and secluded walks. It's walkable to the Moss Beach Distillery for food and drinks, or a 5 minute drive to Princeton-by-the-Sea with lots of restaurants (all with very friendly staff too). Rooms are also very clean!
