Usually friendly staff, easy to schedule and they get us in and out relatively quickly but the scheduling receptionist is impolite an unwelcoming. I called to schedule a routine exam for my husband and a curt, unfriendly girl answered and talked down to me when I tried to schedule an eye exam. If this had been my first experience with the business I would have gone elsewhere. Thankfully, the rest of the staff is a lot nicer.

Everyone was friendly and kind. Made certain any questions I had were answered satisfactorily and honestly. Helped me understand everything even if it was something they couldn't accommodate. I felt very comfortable with everyone. Dr. Gilbert was awesome.

The frames for my prescription sunglasses broke and were out of warranty and discontinued. The staff in Muskegon identified a frame that could work with my lenses. They ground my lenses to fit the new frame which saved my lenses which were still current with my prescription. The result allowed me to continue to use the lenses for sunglasses at a very reasonable cost.

Dr Gilmore and staff are thorough and professional. They were very helpful when I had an bleeding issue after surgery. I was seen without an appointment and they made sure everything was okay, which came as a relief. They run a good practice.

I went in for an eye appointment and to get contacts. I felt comfortable in a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. I was treated well. The staff was helpful, positive and friendly. I was not rushed, but instead the staff took time, which made me feel like I was important. Dr. Nathan Gilmore and his assistant were knowledgeable, giving advice and answering my questions. I will recommend them.

Absolutely great staff my 6 year old was a first timer they were very great with him and he had all good things to say about Dr Gilmore ! Will always be back as a return patient and 11 out of 10 would always recommend!

We went to the Grand Haven one last year but it felt very transactional, this year I decided to try out the one in Spring Lake and it felt just right with the individual attention you receive from all the staff. Dr. Gilmore was very kind, courteous and patient in answering all my questions. He explains everything very thoroughly and makes sure you understand everything that was done.
