Drove down from Riverside to introduce my dad to refill shops. Sophie was working there and she greeted us with a smile, and impressed us with her knowledge about the products. She had a great personality and energy, and she ended our visit with a smile and a wave. We will definately visit again!

Awesome little shop! The owner, Marissa, is fantastic. She has created a unique and pleasant shop that has products that you can buy in bulk to avoid generating more plastic waste. She has shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (unscented, but you can choose to scent it with the high quality essential oils that she stocks), as well as cleaning and laundry products. Lots of great stuff! Bring your own bottles or purchase glass ones in the shop.

You can purchase high quality household and personal care liquids, kitchen and home products that support small businesses and are easier on Mother Earth. You can create your own scents for the products, buy bulk spices and oils, bring your own containers or buy at the store. The owner is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. You’ll love this store and get many great ideas and products to have a less toxic more sustainable home.

Wow, I am SO impressed with this shop. I've been low waste for over a decade and the Sonora Refillery has really provided a fantastic selection of eco-products for our community. I purchased a soft bristle Truthbrush, a brass Redecker dish brush and a bottle brush. I've been through a variety of bamboo toothbrushes over the years and this is my favorite one. My gums thank you for introducing me to such a high-quality product. I'll be back to fill up my spices, tea stash, and household/hygiene soap needs. So excited to have this shop nearby. Looking forward to potential future events on your cute patio.

It is 6:20 and they are closed. Their hours say open until 7pm online and on the posting at the door (see photo). We are always excited to try new places that have refillable options, however, this is quite a disappointment. May try again another time, but for now this is the only impression I have and it is not a good one.

Great Zero Waste store!

The selection was humongous!

Tons of great options to choose from and some of the most reasonable prices I’ve seen at a zero waste shop!

Customer service was great! It’s always nice when the people working there have a zero waste mindset and are friendly/happy to help and talk with you!

I absolutely love this place. During my last visit, I picked up some stainless steel covertible sippy cups and they are amazing. My kids love them and their drinks stay cold for hours in them! Also a big fan of the kitchen scrubbers and bottle brushes!

Marissa has tons of passion, vision, and uplifting energy. I changed over to her shampoo and conditioner with essential oils. They work great on my hair type and give my daily ritual a really welcome purposefulness. Oceanside is lucky to have Sonora Refillery!
