One of the highlights of each appointment has been working with Kyle. His knowledge in optometry is impressive, and he always takes the time to explain things clearly. Kyle’s cheerful and personable nature makes every visit a pleasure. He goes above and beyond to ensure that I feel comfortable and confident in my choices, whether it's selecting the right lenses or understanding my prescription.

Poor office help. Disrespectful, Uncaring Know-it-all desk clerk. Office staff is snotty and charges absorption prices to keep same frames. Never again. I got the feeling they were better than myself. Looked down upon.

I went in for an emergency visit as I had something stuck in my eye since 1AM. They were the only Optical shop nearby that would accommodate a walk-in emergency. Dr. Gary Smith was sent by god, the universe, the angels, or whatever one believes in. He was able to locate a small grain of debris (probably sand I believe) that had been logged in my upper eyelid. I felt no pain and he was extremely patient. The level of gratitude that I have for him and his team cannot be expressed with words. Thank you so much for this. I highly recommend Dr. Gary Smith and team.

The staff at South Lake Optical is incredible and so friendly. My eye exam was very thorough and I felt that all my questions were answered. My glasses arrived quickly and fit perfectly! Prices are very reasonable with vision insurance.

I had the best experience in my life with this amazing wonderful staff. It started off with my Doctor Mr.Smith who did my exam and he was so thoughtful, patient with my questions and took the time to go over my eye problems. Best Doctor ever! Then I went with Veronica who was very kind and helpful going over the paperwork. I got extra attention with Noemy who helped me try on at least 50 glasses and was so patient and amazing and I found the perfect ones. Xitllali was sweet too. Highly recommend!!

Clean facility and very friendly staff! Nice selection of frames and plenty of contacts in stock. The doctor is great with both kids and adults. Making an appointment was easy and quick!
