I can't thank Amber and the crew for their help. Called and spoke with Amber about my perception, she was so helpful over the phone and in person. Picked out frames and new glasses, actually had it all done in less time than quoted. Billing was easy, unlike other places I went, this place is fantastic. Thank you again specs optical, you do a fantastic job. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Love this place! Molly, Heather, Ramona, and Dr. Burd worked hard to get me the right eyeglasses and sunglasses. They were making calls on the spot to Jim to make sure that the sunglasses I liked would be compatible with my prescription. Very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. I think I found my new optometrist and opticians! Thanks specs optical 😎

I am in complete shock over the unprofessionalism of the examiner. The level of sarcasm and how he speaks to clients is down right ridiculous. A total waste of insurance for someone to be so rude because when being examined on different slides and telling him they dont aee a difference he gets an attitude and says it's not a trick question. Then doesnt even provide a script for them and now they must pay out of pocket and he gets a free paycheck for doing a job he has no business doing. Complete lack of knowledge and complete lack of respect for any human being.

Receptionists were rude, never updated my contact info after 2-3 phone calls, therefore there was a miscommunication about my appointment time. It was at 10:15 (i thought 10:30). I arrived at 10:27 and was told that i was marked as a no show because they had texted me (wrong number that was never updated). I was finally seen, after being 2 minutes past the 10 minute grace period. I had to sit and wait for the next customer to miss the 10 minute window and then stole their spot 😢 I got my prescription and went to Fredericktown Vision Center. MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE! Just do yourselves a favor, and go there instead. Save the headache.

I do not recommend this place by any means. I had ordered the chicken with Chinese vegetables. I asked if it is made with brown sauce. They had confirmed it was. I drive home to Bonne Terre. My order had been made with this greasy white sauce. I called the restaurant they told me to bring the food back, no apologies where made. I get there and they take my order. I Watch them put my food inback into a pan and pour brown sauce over the already made food. I ask them after she hands me my order. Did he just reuse my food the cook lies to my face and claimed it was re made fresh. That they wouldn't do that. i was so upset I took the order and threw it in the garbage. For a new business it's sad for them to treat customers like this. Do not go. Sad excuse for a restaurant.

Been going for 25+ years with no issues, last week I got a new script but right eye has been blurry, got an appt. for a re-check, Dr said my right eye showed more of a astigmatism this time, I asked if that’d make it blurry he replied with an attitude “ well if you’re OCD it might” either I either see well out of my new script or I don’t , well I don’t and I don’t appreciate the attitude! btw in 25 years this is the ONLY time I’ve ever questioned a new script from him. WTH?! But the girls at the desk were very nice.
** I will say when I returned the next day to pick my glasses up, the girls were very sweet and apologetic, though they had nothing to apologize for, and wanted to edit to say that the correction he made was the correction needed, and for that i am grateful!

SPEND YOUR MONEY WISELY....GO TO DOLLAR TREE.
I have been S.O. several times, but never again.
Poor quality, inaccurate exam, terrible customer service. When I returned with concerns & complained....the DOCTOR was very DEFENSIVE, & UNPROFESSIONAL. Doctor & staff were rude when I returned....
I WAS VERY disappointed with my entire experience.
You are Wonderful when you come there....
But different story when you have complaints.

I have been going to Specs Optical a little over 4 years now. I have got to say Thank You To All the Staff and the Optometrist. Y'all have always went above and beyond to be there and help me to get what I need at an affordable price. Y'all were the only one that would help me when I lost my insurance. If not for y'all,
I would have been without glasses for at least a 2 yr span. Thank you all for your fast, friendly, affordable, Service. And thank you for always making me feel like a part of y'alls Optometry family.
