JJ was very helpful and did high-quality work. He fixed my glasses by resetting a temple into a frame front, and the prices were reasonable.

They also have an awesome little display with some interesting pieces of hardware and unique frames. I wouldn't necessarily suggest coming in just to see the displays, but if you have to come in, take a look.

If you have a repair need, I highly recommend Spectrum.

I previously went to the St Peters store; however, it has been closed indefinitely so I went to the Crestwood location. The side piece with the hinge came off my glasses. The staff was friendly and helpful. They outlined the repair and the cost up front. Since I was a previous customer, I was offered a discount. I liked that!! My glasses were repaired before the end of day. I have a lifetime warranty on the weld and 30 days on new parts. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of service. I will definitely be returning if I need further repairs and will refer them to anyone who wears glasses!!

The right temple on my glasses broke at the hinge. The optical store told me they couldn’t fix it, and it could only be soldered in a frozen open position. Well, Spectrum repaired it and put a new left temple on, too. It opens and closes nicely, too 👍. Price was $55, pretty reasonable.

I was referred to Spectrum by another eyeglass repair shop because the arm broke on my new glasses that needed to be welded. When I first stopped in, I was not greeted and felt a weird feeling about that by itself. I bet if I was of a different color they would have probably been more friendly. However I leave my glasses, to come pick them up the next day with deep scratches in my lens. I IMMEDIATELY seen the scratches as he was cleaning the lenses before he even handed the glasses to me, so I said oh my, they are scratched-my lens has a scratch on it. He said ma’am you had to bring them in here this way because we’ve been doing this for many years and we don’t scratch lenses. Wow! I didn’t want to argue by me being black in Crestwood area(didn’t want the police to be called) but I know DAMN well! That my lens were not scratched when I bought them in! They are new glasses! I’m very upset with how they did not EVEN try to accept responsibility for scratching my lens! But if you read the reviews there are others saying that their lenses were scratched as well at pickup and they were offered to come back in to get a refund or find a way to resolve the issue. Let’s see if I’m offered the same. Because there is no way I would lie about a scratch on my lens! It was done by Spectrum! I will update this review if anything changes.

These folks did a wonderful job replacing nosepads for my glasses, they also cleaned them up a bit. Service was prompt and with a price that can't be beat. Thanks to the folks at Spectrum Eyeglass Repair in Crestwood.

I was disappointed . The price for a weld on the charge menu above the cash register says 47.00, they quote you 66.00 or less. All they did was 1 weld. I should have ONLY been charged 47 plus tax. I feel I was ripped off not being charged the posted rate. They said it would be done in 1 hour. I had to wait 1 hr 40 minutes. THEY UPCHARGE YOU. Not a good practice. I do appreciate them doing the repair as I waited.

I've been coming to Spectrum for years. They do a great job quickly for charge for big issues and no charge for minor fixes. This is a great place for repairs.

Today I brought my glasses for repair to the arms as one broke off. They fixed me up in an hour. My only complaint is that when they returned my glasses, I had a new deep scratch on my lens towards the bottom INSIDE left lens as if during repair the tool was mishandled making the scratch.

Normally scratches occur to the outside lens. Thank goodness it wasn't in my line of sight / view. I know that the scratch was not there before I brought it into the store because I had wore them all day with a missing arm and that scratch was not there. This is my word against theirs, I totally get it.

I highly recommend taking a picture of your lenses before you drop them off. The lady left no room for me to dispute as if they were so perfect never to make a mistake. She could have checked with the tech and had a better discussion with me about what happened but that did not occur. I spent $65 for this fix and came home with deep scratch. I'm happy for the fix but disappointed in the customer and rude way I was not properly allowed to discuss review this issues.

I will still come back because overall great company, but I will be more careful when I drop off examining my lenses taking a picture so I can prove what was what when I get there on the return side if there's an issue. I recommend you follow the same procedure in case this happens to you. I'm open for discussions with someone if they would like to talk to me. But a thank you note reply to me for my business really won't compensate me for this new issue.

I need to visit this shop once or twice a year ——very hard on my glasses. They always do a very good job. Quick Service too.
