I should have read the other reviews. This “urgent care” bills you as an ER. They charged $566 for a strep test. Very deceptive and unethical. Go ahead SSM and comment below about how you’re very sorry about my experience but won’t make it right for me or anyone else.

Terrible experience. Do not go here if you can avoid it. I had a scheduled appointment, showed up early. Surprise surprise they were running behind by more than 30 minutes. I finally get into a room. Then the nurse on duty spends less than 5 minutes with me the entire time I was there.
I had to remind the nurse to look in my nose and ears, I was there for cough and sinus congestion but the nurse was in and out of room. The level of care/concerns really was lacking. The nurse missed my double ear infection and I was in urgent care the following week, I went to total access urgent care and had a much better experience. Then SSM bills insurance for$807 saying it was an emergency room visit. No this was an urgent care visit. It's nothing but constant billing issues with SSM that you have to fight tooth and nail to correct because it's impossible to get to the right human being to help you. AVOID THIS PLACE

Went in with severe pain only to be prescribed a control substance and basically kicked out still in intense pain. No CT or EKG offered. Very negligent.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this urgent care. The staff seemed indifferent, directing us to a kiosk for check-in, which in turn sent us back to the receptionist.

Despite waiting over 10 minutes, no one approached us for assistance. Communication and customer service were severely lacking.

The sign on the wall is a farce — it reads “Through our exceptional health care services, we reveal the healing presence of God.” Nothing about this experience was exceptional, there was absolutely no service of any kind received and I did not in fact have the presence of God revealed to me.

I challenge you to do better.

USERS BEWARE!! We had the same experience as several others have reported here. My husband got a strep test and we were billed for an emergency room visit. Our insurance EOB said we are not responsible to pay the overcharge ($216!) and we sent in a copy of that doc. Now a collection agency is after us. I have reached out to “patient inquiries” but doubt we will get a resolution. NEVER AGAIN!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. All the other one star reviewers are spot on - no staff present when you arrive; the only sign in computer was occupied by someone clearly off balance sitting in front of it pounding on the screen making it impossible for anyone else to use it; "appt times" are a joke; and upcharging is common. You're better off skipping this mess and going to an ER where you are actually provided help for the same price.

Due to a hectic work schedule and SSM's availability, I took a chance and went here for a visit (to address a severe sore throat this morning). I am one to rarely write a review, however I felt that I needed to on this one. The staff and care was beyond professional and amazing. I got there right on time and they immediately processed my insurance and paperwork. Within a few minutes I saw Debbie (the nurse practitioner) and she was wonderful! Patient, kind, knowledgeable, and you could just tell she loves what she does. I was in and out within 20 minutes for a strep diagnosis. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Visited the SSM Urgent Care in Brentwood. Was able to schedule a visit within 30 minutes of calling them. The staff was very kind and provided top notch care from the minute of walking in until walking out with a prescription. Five stars for staff and the facility. I’d highly recommend them to family and friends.
