I've lived in St. Joseph for 2 years and have made 3 calls regarding rather urgent circumstances. The first, my grandma was involved in an accident. They never showed up after telling us they would for 45 mins. They finally admit after the 3rd call nobody will be coming. The second, was a report I made directly to an officer sitting in his vehicle about an infant being carried around by 2 bleeding & high individuals at the river in freezing weather. He couldn't have cared less. The 3rd was a hit & run that took place at my apt. The culprit is someone that lives here, and I have a plethora of information to help them solve this, yet Its been 3 days and the person has left & returned multiple times. Maybe not the next time. I have contacted an attorney and will be blowing $40,000 to ensure no one else is victimized because of St. Joseph PD inability to police.

Officer Luna needs more training on investigating properly as well as his attitude with the citizens both face to face an while on bodycam he has been completely unprofessional with my wife refused to investigate the assault of my daughter complaint will be getting filed guess officers forget we can foia request bodycam footage

Do we even have police in Saint Joseph, Mo.? With all the expired plates of cars that shouldn’t be on the road. There are cars and motorcycles speeding up and down the belt running red lights. Motorcycles speeding in between cars. Not a cop insight! Drivers driving under the influence of marijuana. Where are the police? Sitting at the station waiting for calls? They should be out patrolling! It didn’t used to be this bad in Saint Joseph. Get it together!!!!

Needed to go to the hospital for a mental health emergency so I called dispatch. “What do you think an officer is going to do?”

Well seeing as I got hung up on and had to beat the hell out of my car with my head last time and I was still pulling out glass after I left and probably had a concussion that they never xrayed for might explain itself you dense, dense dispatcher
