I have been going to this doctor office for years, maybe 12 years not sure, love this doctor office. the doctor is very thorough, the receptionists is nice, although they have had a few within the years and although i was iffy about contacts as i was able to try and get fitted and still went with glasses. my son loves them, we never had any problems. by the way i need an updated exam asap.

The service that I received at Stonecrest Eye Experts was second to none. The receptionists were very friendly and professional. They took me in for my appointment on time and explained to me each process in my eye exam. When it was time to pick my glasses the office staff were very helpful in helping me make a good decision about the frames that were fitting for me. If you are looking for a place to get an eye exam they are a good option. My only con is that there was not a wide array of options for frames for my head size.

My husband and I had an appointment. Check in went well! The pre screening went well! The doctor was awesome! She was patient, knowledgeable and made sure I had what I needed. Then I asked her if I could be fitted for contacts as well. She told me to wash my hands and have a sit and someone would be with me. Well I did that and the young lady that came to assist me , offered me no assistance but a raw attitude. I paid no attention to her rudeness and didn’t even say anything to the doctor. She told me I had to pay $85 for the contact lens fitting but keep in mind, she never fitted me for contacts, I did all the work myself. I went and paid the money with no complaints. So then I went back into the room went the doctor to make sure the contacts fit correctly. Went back to the front to tell the girl i needed to pick a frame for my glasses and she appeared to be more irritated with me so now I can’t just allow this. She begin to huff and puff like I did something wrong. She told me to pick a frame I looked at the frames but I didn’t like them and I wanted to use my current frame. She got mad and told me the frame was bad, then she said it’s a single lens frame, then she said it’s just better to buy a new frame, then she huffed and puffed again, so I asked for a refund and told her to just forget it. She went to get the nice lady that did the pre-screening for me and told her to just give her a refund and she huffed and puffed again and walked away. By that time I saw a frame that I like that was not completely covered by my insurance but I have no problem paying the extra money, so I told the nice lady that I want that frame. Then I told the nice lady to just cancel everything and give me a refund because her attitude is to poor for me to spend my money there. I also told her that the other lady just need to have patience with new customers and a better attitude. I will not go back there.

Update: Tuesday afternoon the doctor called and apologized for the behavior of the young lady. She asked me to come back and explained to me that I did nothing wrong. I went back on Wednesday morning and immediately the assistant gave me the service I was looking for. I’m happy the doctor called me back and I even more happy for the service I received and I got my eye glasses. Thank you guys and see you in two weeks

Staff is friendly and professional. I only waited a few minutes to be seen. The doctor took her time with me and made sure I had the correct lenses to fit my lifestyle. Highly recommend!

The staff was the best very personable. I felt relaxed throughout the process. I was so comfortable i was able to go to sleep in the office. Ok maybe i was tired anyway. My only setback was the selection in glasses. But they offered to put my new lenses in any glasses i brought in so i guess i will change my 4 to a 5

I read the reply from the owner and all the information you spoke on is not true. The staff did not explain to me that i needed progressive lens to see the computer in which i told them that i use for my job. I never said i had a problem with the you the Doctor but your staff was the problem. Yes it is correct that i used my own glasses and they still never said i needed the progressive lens. As i stated before your staff never told me that i needed progressive lens to see the computer. They only said that the progressive lens don't have a line in them that's all. So, yes I said it does not make sense to pay that much extra just for no line glasses. Had your staff said they are for seeing up close as in seeing the computer which 90% of my job requires me to, I would have purchased those. You are still choosing to neglect the fact that your staff NEVER COMMUNICATED THE NEED TO SEE THE COMPUTER I NEED PROGRESSIVE. THEY ONLY SAID PROGRESSIVE IS NO LINE.
Yes, it is true your staff sent the wrong measurements for my glasses and they needed to be repaired. My husband glasses was incorrect as well and the staff never told him he needed progressive lens either and he did choose frames from your office. I was told by your staff to come in for the third time for a recheck and when i did i did not get a recheck. I gave the office time to correct the situation and they did not. My husband said he was okay with his glasses because he did not want to keep going back and forth with your staff as i had too and he still can't wear his glasses to read unless he pull his book or whatever he is reading up to him. My comment does reflex your office as well as the other reviews I've read that are dissatisfied with your staff. Maybe you should rehire new and knowledgeable people. It sure is funny how when you respond to other people negative comments somehow you cannot find any records for them.

The doctor is very through! She took time to exam me to the fullest extent and my visit ended up becoming an issue where I would have to return for a few follow ups. She even came in on an off day to take care of me. I would highly recommend Dr. Achionye and her staff!

Another year has past for my annual eye exam. I made my request online and received a phone call with my appointment the same day. All COVID19 measures in place. Dr. and staff were wonderful. I will be back next year. Have a wonderful Christmas and a joyful New Year for 2021.
